FindIndex Method (DataSeries<TX,TY>)

Finds the index to the DataSeries at the specified X-Value

Syntax

public int FindIndex( 
   IComparable x,
   SearchMode searchMode
)

Parameters

x: The X-value to search for
searchMode: The SciChart.Charting.Common.Extensions.SearchMode options to use. Default is exact, where -1 is returned if the index is not found

Return Value

The index of the found value

Exceptions

Exception	Description
System.InvalidOperationException	The exception that is thrown when a method call is invalid for the object's current state.

Target Platforms: Windows 7, Windows Vista SP1 or later, Windows XP SP3, Windows Server 2008 (Server Core not supported), Windows Server 2008 R2 (Server Core supported with SP1 or later), Windows Server 2003 SP2
