Currently I am trying to enable the default measurement (if present) or need to pass a custom measurement along with values to the axis to plot (if not default available). e.g. x-axis: 50V, y-axis: 50ft, z-axis: 50U

Is there any other possible way to do this in Scichart, If so, please let me know how to do?

Please refer the attached image for your reference.

Thanks in advance.

Hi Barani

It looks like you want to format the labels text in a 3D Chart to something like “50ft 100ft 200ft” is that correct?

If so I suggest you take a look at the LabelProvider feature in SciChart WPF.

See here: Axis 3D APIs

SciChart 3D shares the same AxisCore as SciChart 2D. Many of the
following features are shared. For your convenience, some of the
documentation has been duplicated here, with some referring to other
sections of the user manual.

Axis 3D TextFormatting All Axis obey standard .NET Formatting strings
via the AxisCore.TextFormatting property.

e.g. several examples can be found at the following articles:

I suggest you try the LabelProvider feature. Create a class which inherits LabelProvider and attach it to Axis3D.LabelProvider property. Examples are in the links above

Best regards
Andrew

Hello Andrew,

Thank you for the response. I have used Axis LabelProvider API (Dynamic or complex text formatting) as per your suggestion and got the expected result.

I am having another doubt in SciChart3DSurface Axis relevant, is there any possible way to use converter in NumericAxis3D? If so, please let me know how to do?. I need to convert meters to feet (measurement) in scichart axis. Please let me know if there is any other alternative method to do this if we can’t use converter in NumericAxis3D.

Thanks in advance.

Again the labelprovider is the best place to do some formatting / processing on the data labels shown on the axis. Nothing stopping you from doing feet/meters conversion here
