I am facing a little hurdle in plotting the date value to the chart.

How to add the date to chart x axis and numeric value to the y axis?
Please provide a example to add the date in x axis and numeric value in the y axis.

Please provide a example with one series in the y axis.

I have a requirement to plot the patient vital signs, the date value in x axis and vital signs in y axis.
x – Date when the vital sign is captured
y1, y2, y3, y4, y5 – BP, Heart rate & other vital signs

The model data looks like below.

{“x”:”29-Nov-2022 04:37″,”y1″:”119″,”y2″:”80″,”y3″:”15″,”y4″:”23.6″,”y5″:”86″},
{“x”:”29-Nov-2022 04:38″,”y1″:”119″,”y2″:”80″,”y3″:”15″,”y4″:”23.6″,”y5″:”87″},
{“x”:”29-Nov-2022 04:39″,”y1″:”119″,”y2″:”80″,”y3″:”15″,”y4″:”23.6″,”y5″:”86″}

ZoomPanModifier date format charts zoom out continuously then showing NaN on the scale. It happened because the zoom level goes under the invalid date. Can you add the Minimum Zoom/Pan and Maximum Zoom/Pan area to be configured on options?

Hi,
I’m trying to synchronize the pie chart and the line chart in React. I’ve already done this for two line graphs.

They both use the same data table. And I want to know if it’s possible, if when I zoom in on the line chart, it updates the Pie chart with the new range.

Thanks, (sorry for my english ^^)

There seems to be no documentation on how to configure scichart when using app router with nextJS, and I am running into an error.

I have followed a combination of this tutorial, and additional setup for nextJS found here, specifically the next.config.js file, copy-files-from-to.json, and additions to package.json. But I continue to get the error: ‘Module has already been declared’. (first/second pics in PDF)

I have attached a photos inside the pdf, including my project structure, and a zip with the files to duplicate.

Steps to replicate:
1) extract files and add root package.json to a directory of your choice
2) from within this directory, use ‘yarn create next-app scichart-prototype’ (use set-up options from 4th image in PDF)
3) Replace root layout.tsx and page.tsx with files in zip, add SciChartDemo directory and add page.tsx from that (also in zip)
4) replace the next.config.mjs file with the next.config.mjs file from the zip
5) add the copy-files-from-to.json from the zip
6) replace the package.json file in scichart-prototype directory with file from the zip.
7) run ‘yarn install’ to add packages
8) run ‘turbo dev’
9) after visiting localhost:3000/ click the Sci Chart Demo link to see error.

Thanks for taking a look.

Hey, how would I go about adding a custom template for the cursor axis labels using the Javascript 2D chart API?

I’d like the x-axis to not just have a date in MM/DD/YYYY format but a date and time displayed. The current implementation is below, and below that is the desired implementation.

Current: https://ibb.co/qJgJ36j

Desired: https://ibb.co/XzTkDgw

I have looked through the documentation but I may have missed something. If I have, please point me in the right direction, thanks!

When using FastCandlestickRenderableSeries, I want every value to appear on the chart. I tried to use DataLabelProvider for this, but it didn’t work. What can I do.

class CustomDataLabelProvider extends DataLabelProvider {
onDataPoint(renderableSeries, xValue, yValue) {
    const labelText = `${yValue.toFixed(2)}`;

    const label = document.createElement('div');
    label.textContent = labelText;
    label.style.position = 'absolute';
    label.style.color = 'black';
    label.style.fontSize = '12px';
    label.style.left = `${this.parentSurface.coordinateCalculator.getCoordinateFrom(xValue) - label.clientWidth / 2}px`;
    label.style.top = `${this.parentSurface.coordinateCalculator.getCoordinateFrom(yValue) - label.clientHeight}px`;

    this.parentSurface.annotationCanvas.appendChild(label);
  }
}

const { sciChartSurface, wasmContext } = await SciChartSurface.create("scichart-root", {
theme: new SciChartJSLightTheme(),
titleStyle: { fontSize: 22 },
 });

sciChartSurface.applyTheme(new SciChartJSLightTheme());
sciChartSurface.xAxes.add(new NumericAxis(wasmContext));
sciChartSurface.yAxes.add(new NumericAxis(wasmContext));
const yAxis = sciChartSurface.yAxes.get(0);
yAxis.visibleRange = new NumberRange(LAL, UAL);
const xAxis = sciChartSurface.xAxes.get(0);
xAxis.visibleRange = new NumberRange(0, endBarIndex);

const dataSeries = new OhlcDataSeries(wasmContext, {
xValues: xValues,
openValues: compositeScanAverageArray,
highValues: yValues,
lowValues: compositeScanAverageArray,
closeValues: yValues,
});

sciChartSurface.renderableSeries.add(new FastCandlestickRenderableSeries(wasmContext, {
dataSeries: dataSeries,
strokeThickness: 1,
dataPointWidth: 0.5,
paletteProvider: new CustomPaletteProvider(),
dataLabelProvider: new CustomDataLabelProvider(),
 }));

Hi there,

I would like to use a column chart with labels. Our client tends to use really long names for these labels, so I was wondering if it is possible that these labels wrap. I could find no property in the docs or source that achieves this. The attached screenshot shows the current (and undesired) rendering.

The current behavior seems to be that labels in between are hidden when longer labels overlap them. Is this a configurable property? In our case, the labels may never be hidden.

Kind regards,
Tim Havinga

Cant display any chart when init by SciChartSurface.create(HtmlElementId), how can I fix it ?

Hi Andrew,

I have 2 independent questions,

Q1.
I have been working with uniform heatmap and I need a way to fix the aspect ratio to 1, for all resize, zoom events, is there an option in heatmap to fix an aspect ration? Please see the attached video
https://youtu.be/obhH6KLExYw

Q2.
I am trying to implement a lasso select method to select and highlight the heatmap data. I did not find lasso select in the documentation hence I went ahead and implemented my own method.

I am drawing an svg using D3 (offsetX and offsetY variables) and then adding it to the annotation as you will see in the video and trying to get all the hitTest data inside the lasso.

If I use the customAnnotation then heatmap is able to draw correct size and location of the SVG
customAnnotation:
https://youtu.be/gL34sAbxYSE

But it does not pan and zoom with the plot data. after looking through documentation I came across OverviewCustomResizableAnnotation which seems designed for zooming and panning with the data.

But while using the OverviewCustomResizableAnnotation the SVG size keeps changing during the update and is not located at the correct location relative to the data.

sciChartSurfaceRef.current.annotations.add(
new OverviewCustomResizableAnnotation({
id: "lassoSVG",
x1: shortestXinData,
y1: shortestYinData,
isEditable: false,
isSelected: false,
yCoordinateMode: ECoordinateMode.DataValue,
xCoordinateMode: ECoordinateMode.DataValue,
verticalAnchorPoint: EVerticalAnchorPoint.Top,
horizontalAnchorPoint: EHorizontalAnchorPoint.Left,
svgString: new XMLSerializer().serializeToString(svg.node())
})
)

OverviewCustomResizableAnnotation:

I am considering applying server-side licensing for my javerScript application.

In the document below, there is a phrase “Our server-side licensing component is written in C++.”
(https://support-dev.scichart.com/index.php?/Knowledgebase/Article/View/17256/42/)

However, there is only asp.net sample code on the provided github.
(https://github.com/ABTSoftware/SciChart.JS.Examples/tree/master/Sandbox/demo-dotnet-server-licensing)

I wonder if there is a sample code implemented in C++ for server-side licensing.

Can you provide c++ sample code?
Also, are there any examples to run on Ubuntu?

Good evening. Lately I’ve been troubleshooting a problem with page memory usage increasing. Over time, the memory grows exponentially and reaches several gigabytes. To explain the problem, we need to describe how we use charts:

On our website in real time, depending on our algorithm, the charts replace each other. The user constantly sees 4 charts, which are constantly replaced by others. Adding new charts occurs unnoticed by the user and only after the graph is fully loaded and drawn does it replace the previous one. That is, the user actually sees 4 charts, but there may be more on the page. After replacing the desired chart, the old one is deleted using surface.delete() and removing all dependencies.

At first, when creating a chart, I used the create() method. After a number of attempts to avoid memory accumulation and re-reading the documentation, I came to the conclusion that it is possible, since all graphs are created using create() – they have a common wasm and since there cannot be a situation in which all charts will be deleted (at least 4 are always present ), then wasm memory is not freed. Tell me if I’m right about this.

Afterwards, I decided to try to create charts using createSingle() with a reliable method, which now, since each graph has its own wasm, memory will be freed. Perhaps this was the case, but I can’t say for sure, because now after some time the page began to reload automatically with the appearance of an error, the screenshot of which I attached. This is most likely due to a wasm limitation on the page when using createSingle. Although it’s strange, when you delete the chart, the amount of wasm should decrease. And even with a limit of 16 copies, this should be enough. Please explain this error to me as well, perhaps the problem with rebooting can be somehow solved by you (I’m not sure that this should happen)

Thank you very much in advance for your answer. Have a good day!

In a DateTimeNumericAxis, can I convert the number from VisibleRange to a formatted string HH:MM:SS?
For example, I’d like to convert this x1 to 12/1/1984, 3:00:00 PM, or 15:00:00.

let x1 = this.parentSurface.annotations.getById("hrv").x1;
// x1 =470761200, seconds since 1970.01.01 00:00:00

Thanks.

I’m trying to add rollover / tooltip to a chart, which uses sweeping. First, everything is working fine, but after updating the data over more then one page, the rollover is messing around with the data.

I created a codesandbox with the vitalsign demo: https://codesandbox.io/p/sandbox/javascript-vital-signs-ecg-medical-chart-example-forked-2zqcs3

First the rollover works great. Wait until the data is updated to the left side. Then you’ll see the messed up values and rollover points.

Hi,
Unsorted xValues is possible on SCI Chart? I tried with dataIsSortedInX: false and isSorted: false on dataSeries, But its not showing the correct range.

eg:

 new XyDataSeries(wasmContext, {
        dataSeriesName: "Line Series",
        xValues: [0,10,20,13,54,15,26,17,18,19],
        yValues: [0,1,5,1,20,5,1,8,9,3],
    dataIsSortedInX: false
    });

Hello,

We have multiple sets of data that we’d like to display as a Stacked Column. The problem is that our data is jagged, meaning each series may not have a value for every value on the x-axis (it’s a time series by day).

Is there any way to present this data without having to merge all the x-values in every dataset? These a very large sets and it just does not seem to be efficient to do this.

Thanks!

Chris

Hi Scichart Team.

I am working on the MouseWheelZoomModifier (EActionType.Pan).
But my users are using a trackpad (apple magic trackpad).
Currently, they are using 2 fingers and move up or down (vertically) to pan the chart. But they are asked to pan the chart by using 2 fingers and move left or right (horizontally) instead.

Do we have any setting for MouseWheelZoomModifier that help me pan the chart by that way?

I have upgraded the SciChart version to v3.2 and tried to use the memory debugging tools. https://www.scichart.com/documentation/js/current/webframe.html#MemoryLeakDebugging.html

Below are few issues I found:

  • The example in the Memory Leak Debugging page got typo. It should
    import the MemoryUsageHelper instead of MemoryUsageTracker.

import { MemoryUsageTracker } from “scichart”;
MemoryUsageHelper.isMemoryUsageDebugEnabled = true;

  • When I turn on the memory debugger, I always got this warning when I
    move the crosshair in my chart. Is this expected?

DeletableEntity.js:70 Failed to remove
CursorTooltipSvgAnnotation_42d65afd-b859-4e14-b82d-7cda881cf1eb from
the Object Registry Probably it has been already deleted!

  • I also got the warning in point 2 when I try to delete annotation
    from the chart. I think it’s because I am trying to do something
    like this:

sciChartSurfaceRef.chartModifiers.remove(markerAnnotation);
markerAnnotation.delete();

The warning will be gone if I remove the second line above. Is it true that if I remove an annotation/dataSeries from a chart, I don’t need to remove that annotation/dataSeries manually afterward (i.e. annotation.delete()) ? Also, if I deleted a chart, I don’t need to delete it’s annotation/dataSeries manally, right?

Working on an application that requires toggling between Linear and Logarithmic scales. I am using the JavaScript version of the library, and I see that there is a LogarithmicNumericAxis available in the WPF version but there is not one currently supported in the JS version.

Curious if there were any recommendations on how to go about hand rolling this type of functionality?

The application is doing realtime streaming of data points so need to be able to update existing values as well as handle incoming values.

please uncomment lines at 47 and 48 for a different set of x and y values where it works fine.
Not sure what am i doing wrong.

This question is related to this.

Good afternoon. While researching this question, I created an example that I would like you to look at.

1) In this example, there is an express server that hosts an HTML page.
In it I added 3 buttons that trigger the creation of a certain number of charts and their subsequent deletion (1, 10 or 100). And one button that saves data about the memory used (later a chart is created from this data for visual analysis).

2) In the check_result folder there is an html file containing one button that creates a chart based on the data saved on site #1.

The algorithm of actions is as follows:
1) I create 1 chart. I’m waiting for it to be removed
2) I wait some time for the result to be readable
3) I create 10 charts. I’m waiting for them to be removed
4) I wait some time for the result to be readable
5) I create 100 charts. I’m waiting for them to be removed
6) I wait some time for the result to be readable
7) I create 1000 charts. I’m waiting for them to be removed
8) I wait some time for the result to be readable

I am attaching a screenshot of the final chart. The final graph also displays the places where the creation of charts began and the end of the deletion of the last one.

Result: After adding charts, the memory does not return to its previous position.

Please look at this example. If I’m wrong somewhere, tell me how this example can be made to free all memory after deleting all charts. Thanks a lot!

I have a chart with stacked xAxes, and I am trying to calculate the stackedLength of each xAxis base on the total length or width available for the xAxes.

The issue come when I am changing the size of the screen or changing the width of the chart using flex-basis. When I do that, I get the error message in the picture below.

My question is, is there a way for me to listen/subscribe to the width change or get the latest width?

I have a top chart that is a heatmap and there is another bottom chart that is a temperature map. I want the heatmap not show any y-axis labels but still keep the x-axis start aligned from the left side. I tried turning off the y-axis lables (which I do not need in the heatmap), but that moves the heatmap to the left and not kept aligned with the bottom chart.

const yAxis = new NumericAxis(wasmContext, {
autoRange: EAutoRange.Always,
labelFormat: ENumericFormat.Decimal,
labelPrecision: 2,
labelPostfix: "C",
drawLabels: false
});

The above code hides the y-axis labels but also removes the space on the left side so the x-axis of both graphs does not remained aligned. I need a way to somehow keep the start of x-axis aligned for both top and bottom graphs.

I remember asking about something similar many years ago with WPF, but in browser the problem seems more apparent.

Using the current data model (I can be fairly flexible on the backend, and don’t necessarily have to do things this way), for some of the plots I generate many series that do some funky overlapping stuff (example attached). In the extreme examples, this can be thousands of series (the total number of data points might be < 100k).

In these cases, drawing basically grinds to a halt. Zooms take seconds, the OS starts complaining that chrome is locked up — you get the idea.

Is there a better way to approach this sort of plot? Are there any tuning recommendations for this scenario?

Hi,

I’m building a heatmap with UniformHeatmapRenderableSeries I would like to know if it is possible to get some text inside each block.
I would like to display the block size when I zoom in like this https://www.scichart.com/example/android-heatmap-chart-with-text-example/.
Do you have any suggestions?

Best Regards,

I am trying to implement a waterfall chart with uniform heatmap. The data is updated from the top of the chart and keeps pushing the old data down. I would like to show the y-axis with time. How can I update the y-axis with updated data?

Assume the heatmap is 256 height, I created the zValues array with min value when draw the heatmap:

const SPECTROGRAM_WIDTH = 256;
const minPower = -200;
spectrogramZValues.current = Array.from(Array(SPECTROGRAM_HEIGHT), () => Array(SPECTROGRAM_WIDTH).fill(minPower));

Update zValues array when new data come:

    spectrogramZValues.current.shift();
        spectrogramZValues.current.push(newData);

When the first data pushed to the chart. There will be one row shown in the axis with timestamp t1. When the second data comes, the top row of the y-axis should be t2 and the t1 is pushed down. When the waterfall chart is filled with 256 data, the bottom of the y-axis should be t1 and the top of the y-axis should be t256. Is it possible to implement this?

Now I am using the uniform heatmap to implement it with yStart=0 and yStep=1. I tried to add the labelProvider to the y-axis to show the timestamp of each row. I am keeping an array locally to store the timestamp of each row which will be updated with the new data. I tried to map this array and return the timestamp in the y-axis labelProvider. But it doesn’t work. The y-axis will not be refreshed when data updated.

        yAxis.labelProvider.formatLabel = (dataValue) => {
        const ts = timestampArray[dataValue];
        if (ts) {
            const timeObj = new Date(ts);
            const hours = ('0' + timeObj.getHours()).slice(-2);
            const minutes = ('0' + timeObj.getMinutes()).slice(-2);
            const seconds = ('0' + timeObj.getSeconds()).slice(-2);
            const milliseconds = ('0' + timeObj.getMilliseconds()).slice(-3);
            return `${hours}:${minutes}:${seconds}.${milliseconds}`;
        } else {
            return "";
        }
    };

I have a React application showing a real time updated chart which works well when receives data from event-based WebSocket. Now I need to modify the app with a new data source. I have an aysnc function to get a batch of data in an interval.

kinesisReadInterval.current = setInterval(async () => {
        const recordsResponse = await kinesisRef.current.getRecords({ ShardIterator: shardIterator }).promise();
        recordsResponse.Records.forEach(record => {
            try {
                const dataObj = JSON.parse(record.Data.toString('utf-8'));
                spectrumAnalyzerRef.current.metaDataHandler(dataObj);
            } catch (jsonError) {
                spectrumAnalyzerRef.current.binaryDataHandler(record.Data.buffer);
            }
        });

        shardIterator = recordsResponse.NextShardIterator;

        if (!shardIterator || !kinesisConected.current) {
                clearInterval(intervalId); // Stop interval if conditions are not met
        }
    }, 1000);

The recordsResponse.Records contains a batch of records and I want to update the chart based on these records one by one. From my logs, I can see that the binaryDataHandler() which will call appendRange() ran successfully for each record. However, the chart only redraws for the last record of the recordsResponse.Records. I have tried to store the recordsResponse.Records in a state variable and loop to update the chart later, but still got the same result. I am not sure whether it’s chart related issue or React rendering issue. Do you have any idea?

Hi Scichart Team,
RenderableSeries Hit-Test still having some issues. I saw that the bug on your board is already closed state and my last comments are missed on the bug. So i am adding the same here.

https://www.scichart.com/questions/js/renderableseries-hit-test-not-working-as-expected

Can you please check the video and the code. Only change i have done on the Example is the data values are updated. On the video you can saw the clicking outside for some area Hit is showing, some area miss is showing, and clicking on the lines or point also showing the same. Let me know you need any more inputs from my side.

Hi,

New to using Scichart JS, is it possible to change the series colour of the overview chart?

See screenshot, I have a FastColumnRenderableSeries as the main chart, and using FastMountainRenderableSeries for the overview. I would like to change the colour of the overview chart.

Tried setting the stroke colour etc, as in the example but can not seem to make it work.

Kind Regards,

James

Currently, I am creating a line chart and appending a lot of fetched data to the data series. The problem is that I have to recreate the chart when I move to another page that is using the same chart from the previous page. Therefore, I have to fetch the data and append it to the chart data series again.

Is there any way to reuse the chart itself without recreating the whole chart on another page?

Hi,

I am facing a issue with RolloverModifier. I have multiple charts in single window. For some points the lines over the chart are missing.

Please find the attached images for some examples and the code for reproduce the issue. on the attachment you can see that the line on some chart is missing when mouse on left and right corner area of the chart.

Posting again because on latest version also the same issue not resolved.

It’s impossible to zoom a candlestick chart (other types as well) on mobile browsers & WebViews.
I’m trying to use pinch-to-zoom with my fingers on chart, but it doesn’t react on it. Only sliding on the left & right is possible.

I’ve even tried demo from documentation:
https://demo.scichart.com/javascript-realtime-ticking-stock-charts

The same is with my chart as well

How can I fix it?
Thank you

@TypeScriptError Getting an 800A0404 error when opening any javascript file. This is happening in the Windows Script Host panel. Telling me that I have bad code, that’s not bad. This has been happening since upgrading my Java Version.

I want to build a Stacked Column Side by Side Chart by referring to the reference here.

However, the program could not enter line #41. It just stuck there and the column chart could not be shown.

My code:

export class OutputAmplitudeComponent implements OnInit, OnDestroy {

constructor(@Inject(SETTING_SERVICE) private settingService: SettingService, private cdr: ChangeDetectorRef) {}

ngOnInit() {
                this.settingService.registerSetting(HarmonicAmpSetting).pipe(takeUntil(this.ngUnsubHarmonicData)).subscribe(setting => {
                    const OutputAmplitudeData = setting.value;

                    for (let x = 1; x < this.numberOfOutput; x++) {
                        if (this.OutputMode === 'Voltage') {
                            if (phaseNum === 1) {
                                this.ampSource.data[x-1].voltage1 = OutputAmplitudeData[x];
                            } else if (phaseNum === 2) {
                                this.ampSource.data[x-1].voltage2 = OutputAmplitudeData[x];
                            } else if (phaseNum === 3) {
                                this.ampSource.data[x-1].voltage3 = OutputAmplitudeData[x];
                            }
                        } else if (this.OutputMode === 'Current') {
                            if (phaseNum === 1) {
                                this.ampSource.data[x-1].current1 = OutputAmplitudeData[x];
                            } else if (phaseNum === 2) {
                                this.ampSource.data[x-1].current2 = OutputAmplitudeData[x];
                            } else if (phaseNum === 3) {
                                this.ampSource.data[x-1].current3 = OutputAmplitudeData[x];
                            }
                        }
                        this.sciChartInit(x);
                    }
                });
            }

async sciChartInit(x:number) {

    var phase1 = parseFloat(this.ampSource.data[x-1].voltage1);
    var phase2 = parseFloat(this.ampSource.data[x-1].voltage2);

    const xAxis = new NumericAxis(wasmContext);
    sciChartSurface.xAxes.add(xAxis);
    const yAxis = new NumericAxis(wasmContext);

    rendSeries2.rolloverModifierProps.tooltipColor = "#aad34f";
    rendSeries2.rolloverModifierProps.tooltipTextColor = "#000";
    rendSeries2.stackedGroupId = "two";

    const rendSeries3 = new StackedColumnRenderableSeries(wasmContext);
    rendSeries3.fill = "#8562b4";
    rendSeries3.stroke = "black";
    rendSeries3.strokeThickness = 1;
    rendSeries3.dataSeries = dataSeries3;
    rendSeries3.rolloverModifierProps.markerColor = "#715195";
    rendSeries3.rolloverModifierProps.tooltipColor = "#8562b4";
    rendSeries3.rolloverModifierProps.tooltipTextColor = "#fff";
    rendSeries3.stackedGroupId = "three";

    const verticallyStackedColumnCollection = new StackedColumnCollection(wasmContext);
    verticallyStackedColumnCollection.dataPointWidth = 0.5;
    verticallyStackedColumnCollection.add(rendSeries1, rendSeries2, rendSeries3);
    verticallyStackedColumnCollection.animation = new ScaleAnimation({ duration: 1000, fadeEffect: true });

    sciChartSurface.renderableSeries.add(verticallyStackedColumnCollection);

    sciChartSurface.chartModifiers.add(new ZoomExtentsModifier(), new ZoomPanModifier(), new MouseWheelZoomModifier());

    sciChartSurface.zoomExtents();

    sciChartSurface.chartModifiers.add(new RolloverModifier({ rolloverLineStroke: "#228B22" }));
    sciChartSurface.chartModifiers.add(
        new LegendModifier({
            placement: ELegendPlacement.TopRight,
            orientation: ELegendOrientation.Horizontal,
            showLegend: true,
            showCheckboxes: true,
            showSeriesMarkers: true
        })
    );
    return { wasmContext, sciChartSurface };
} }

.
.
The data needed in the chart is identified and no error is shown.
Any idea on the solution?

Thank you.

Screenshots attached.

To recreate:

  • Create a chart
  • Add a CursorModifier – default options is fine
  • Either directly remove the modifier using .remove(modifier), or clear all using .clear()

Expected behaviour:
– Should remove the cursor modifier

Actual behaviour with bug:
– Crashes the page

This appears to be an issue with CursorModifier only (out of the 5 or 6 that I’ve tried). Other modifiers work as expected.

Traced the issue to this.parentSurface being undefined in CursorModifier.js, so when onDetach() is called, it errors.

Thanks!
Joe

Hi,

Is it possible to specify that incoming zValues array matrix is an array of columns, instead of an array of rows?

e.g. if I pass this:

[
[1,2,3],
[4,5,6],
[7,8,9]
]

[1,2,3] is the first column, not the first row.

We want to avoid transposing this data manually before passing it to the heatmap, because our data arrives one column at a time via a websocket subscription, and the data is too large to efficiently re-transpose every time.

I can’t see anything in the docs or the code?

Thanks
Joe

Hello,

I switched from NumericAxis to DateTimeNumericAxis to view x axis labels in hh:mm format. It is definitely showing the labels in this format which is what I wanted, but for some reason it always show “Jan 1” in the first label. I simply want to show hh:mm labels based on the X values. One thing to now is that this is a live updating chart, not static data.

What am I missing? attached is a picture showing the issue and a picture with the DateTimeNumericAxis configuration.

Thanks.
Sergio.

I am considering applying server-side licensing for my javerScript application.

In the document below, there is a phrase “Our server-side licensing component is written in C++.”
(https://support.scichart.com/index.php?/Knowledgebase/Article/View/17256/42/)

However, there is only asp.net sample code on the provided github.
(https://github.com/ABTSoftware/SciChart.JS.Examples/tree/master/Sandbox/demo-dotnet-server-licensing)

I wonder if there is a sample code implemented in C++ for server-side licensing.

Can you provide c++ sample code?
Also, are there any examples to run on Ubuntu?

Hello,
I am trying to make an annotation draggable. I tried setting the isEditable property to true, but nothing happened. I can’t find the right documentation for draggable annotations . My code for creating the Annotation it’s below:

sciChartSurface.annotations.add(new LineAnnotation({
    stroke: "#279B27", strokeThickness: 3,
    xCoordinateMode: ECoordinateMode.DataValue,
    x1: 0,
    x2: 0,
    yCoordinateMode: ECoordinateMode.Relative,
    y1: 0,
    y2: 1,
    isEditable: true,
}));

Can SciChart be used in Qt? If so, is there a demo available for reference, or can you provide guidance on how to use it?
