Hi,
I have understood that you will start supporting macOS in the near future. Are we talking Q3, Q4 or 2018?
Any hint, even one with lots of caveats will be greatly appreciated…
Thanks

Hey Peter!
At the moment we are just targetting iOS for the SciChart iOS v2 Release. This is around the corner. The team has done so much work to polish, improve, perfect, unify SciChart iOS with Android and our best-selling WPF (Windows) chart product. That and bring Xamarin support to the table.
As soon as it’s out the door (SciChart iOS v2 that is), on of our very next priorities will be to expand to OSX (amongst other things).
As far as I know, as our iOS charts are written in Objective-C, they should cross-compile to OSX without too much trouble. We’re looking at changes to how UIKit is used and writing input for mouse & trackpad gestures instead of touch.
So … I’m hoping … like you that it’s a quick job. I cannot give a time save to say that we work non-stop and really really hard to get this stuff done.
If you want to chat more privately – you can find me by clicking on the Live Help button on the left of the screen (during office hours) and I’ll be happy to share my email and chat about your requirements.
Best regards,
Andrew
