Hello,

I would like to ask if we can expect working labels for LineAnnotation anytime soon? It’s the only type of line that doesn’t have functioning labels. I need this information because we are planning to deploy a version with formations soon, and we cannot afford inconsistency in the labels. If this is not planned for the near future, we will temporarily disable this option for the other lines.

Best regards,
Kamil

Hello! Have you reported this before? If so please provide a link to a forum post or ticket. If you have a code sample that demonstrates the problem that would be helpful.

Hi, I reported this earlier, during the extended lines case. I also received information from technical support that this is being noted and is in preparation. It’s just that labelValue and showLabel only don’t work for LineAnnotations. https://www.scichart.com/questions/js/line-annotations-labels

Hello! FYI we are in the process of developing the next major library version. Any new features are going to be published only in its scope or with further releases.
The major release, I guess, most likely, is going to happen at the beginning of the next year.
Meanwhile, I would suggest checking out the NativeTextAnnotation functionality. Maybe it would not be too difficult to make a custom implementation.

I’ve created a task with a reference to this topic.
We will review it at some point and it will remind us later to notify you if it’s done.
