Dear all,
I am actually learning your chart control and I have seen that you have a ready made chart tool bar control that is place on your sample in left side of the graph demo.
Based on that tool bar I have few question :
1 – Does the small button on the tool bar chart control can be styled differently ?
– having rectangle button
– change button icon
– change button bacground color
– ….

Hi there,
The toolbar is called ‘SciChartInteractionToolbar’, and we don’t officially support it. However you are free to use it (with copyright attribution), modify it and distribute it.
It can be found in the SciChart WPF Examples source code which is hosted on Github and licensed as Apache 2.0 license.
- See SciChartInteractionToolbar source
- See this related post about referencing the library which includes the toolbar.
Best regards,
Andrew

you said “The toolbar is called ‘SciChartInteractionToolbar’, and we don’t officially support it” . So I understqnd by this that we should avoid to use it. In this case, I understand then that we can have our own button tool bar and control the chart property through the button using binding to property, correct ?

In other words, if I use my own tool bar button let say a button to enable Zoom, then if I click on this button how should I linked it to the graph to enable or desable graph zooming ?

Hi there, you can use it, just we won’t help you configure it (we don’t support it). To enable zoom, all you need to do is include a zoom modifier in your chart, and bind the toolbar button to RubberBandXyZoomModifier.IsEnabled. For example: https://www.scichart.com/documentation/v4.x/webframe.html#RubberBandXyZoomModifier.html

and feel free to look at the source for the toolbar. Like I said – its free to use. https://github.com/ABTSoftware/SciChart.WPF.Examples/tree/master/v5.x/Examples/SciChart.Examples.ExternalDependencies/Controls/SciChartInteractionToolbar
