Hi,

I would like to select different themes using MVVM.
Do you have an example how to do this?

Thanks,
Egbert

Hi there,

No, we don’t have examples how to do this via MVVM, but it isn’t hard. You need to have some string property in your ViewModel, and bind ThemeManager.Theme to it. Saying, you have Theme property in VM:

        public string Theme
        {
            get { return _theme; }
            set
            {
                _theme = value;
                OnPropertyChanged("Theme");
            }
        }

than you binding expression should be:

                            <sciChart:SciChartSurface ...
sciChart:ThemeManager.Theme="{Binding Theme}">
...
                            <sciChart:SciChartSurface />

Also, if you want to get all themes into a combo box and select via MVVM you can do this:

<ComboBox ItemsSource="{Binding sciChart:ThemeManager.AllThemes}"
 SelectedItem="{Binding Theme, Mode=TwoWay}"/>

Please, try this and and don’t hesitate to ask if you have any questions!

Best regards,
Yuriy
