Hello, guys and gals. So I’m attempting to provide two pieces of information with a single plotted series. In this scenario it is important that we display the Signal-to-Noise ratio of our data along with the data itself. Now, this can create quite a cluttered chart. So the hopeful alternative is to vary the color in some way as the SNR varies. So the overall question is this: Can a single series have a localized variation in color?

Sure it can,

Go to our examples at http://www.scichart.com/demo -> Click on demo -> search for PaletteProvider. Try dragging on the chart. This example demonstrates how to colour series on a point by point basis using our PaletteProvider API.

Hope this helps!
Andrew

Okay, so that's sort of what I'm looking for but I'm not sure how to convert it to what is actually being requested. The attached picture, at least the graph section, is what I'm looking for. So the series being shown has its color determined by a second series' y values. The coding used for the picture is on the right. So if the second series at time t has a y value of 1, the series shown at time t has a color of blue. I know this will require a custom converter, but would the implementation change?
