I am want to have a label on the x axis for each point in my series. I then want to use a label provide to customize that label. Is this possible. if so how do i do that.

Yes it is possible,

You could either:

  1. Override TickProvider to customise the exact location of axis ticks and labels. This will also override gridline placement. Also it can result in cluttered labels if you have lots of points.

  2. Use VerticalLineAnnotation on the XAxis to place a marker at X-values and set the line colour to transparent. This is the simplest solution but isn’t the best performance if you need to show hundreds, or even thousands of labels.

  3. Dig into the source code (if you are a source-code customer) and draw directly on the Axis.ModifierCanvas, or Axis bitmap (a child of the Axis control used to draw tick lines)
