Hello,
How can I animate an update of a candle or a bar in an OHLC type charts? I use realtime stock chart like this example.

Hello,

Out team have several question about the framework:

  1. Is there a way to make SCIChartSurfaceView background transparent so that the user could see underlying views? We tried using background brush of clear color on SCIChartSurface and making SCIChartSurfaceView backgroundColor transparent but no avail.

  2. Is it possible to add translate/rotate/scale animation to markers/annotations from code?

  3. When using gradient brush with mountain renderable series we found a strange visual artifact (“Gradient artifact” image). Is there a way to fix it?

Best regards,
Vasiliy

Hello,

I’m working on an analysis software that uses Scichart API for generating graphics in WPF.

I recently used Scichart IOS / Android apps and I really liked the graphics animations.

However, I did not find the way to do the same thing in WPF.

Is it possible to animate the loading of graphics or any other animation?

Thank you.

I have a chart in the center of the page and the chart will resize according to the browser window size. When I expand the browser window, the chart will expand to fit the browser size. In this case, the chart grows downward gradually (with animation). How can I remove this animation effect when resizing the chart?

In case it’s related to my style. Here are my markup and style for reference:

//Markup

//Style
.contentPanel {
flex: 1 1 auto;
width: calc(100% – 335px);
max-height: calc(100vh – 108px);
display: flex;
flex-direction: column;
}

.chartContainer {
position: relative;
margin: 10px 0;
display: flex;
flex-direction: column;
flex: 1;
}

.scichart-root {
width: 100%;
height: 100%;
}

Hello

In the real-time line chart, I want an animation like the video(link below).
Can you be provided with animations such as a point where a point drawn in real time continues to blink?

var lineData = new XyDataSeries<DateTime, double>();

if I have a XyDataSeries<DateTime, double> then I can get the sweeping animation to work. If I change the XyDataSeries to XyDataSeries<DateTime, int> it fails to produce the chart and gives an exception stating

SciChartSurface didn’t render, because an exception was thrown:
Message: Specified cast is not valid.

Is this possible or does yaxis have to be a double? If I use fade animation it works properly. Thanks.

Hello!

Great work, thanks a lot for this framework!

Could you provide an example of animated inserting of a new point? My goal is to implement interpolation between previous retrieved and last point on the real-time line chart.
