Can I use the 30 day trial version to run a newly built exe file from the “exported” Visual Studio solution files which then runs into the “Sorry! You need to have a license to use SciChart.” run-time error? How can I find and activate the 30 day license to avoid this run-time error?
I would try out the examples with my trial but I got this error:
error: package io.reactivex does not exist import

I’m using Xamarin.iOS and the SciChart.iOS NuGet. When adding a
LabelProvider to an axis the iPhoneSimulator with iOS 13.2 crashes without warning or exception back to the phone menu. This issue is not present on Android using the same API usage pattern.
This effect is not just in my own apps but can be replicated by running the latest Examples app on the same simulator. Examples which demonstrate the same behaviour include “Custom Theme”, Stacked Column Side by Side Chart”, “Using Theme Manager”, all of which set the
LabelProvider in the source code.
Is this a known bug? Maybe an incompatibility with the latest version of Xamarin.iOS.
I noticed that this issue has been reported before.
This is a deal breaker for us at the moment as formatting axis labels is pretty crucial.
I have an Android device (CAT S40) running 5.1 on it. I am encountering an issue when pressing the home button or lock button. It seems that sometimes when the app is in pause or sleep my chart surfaces are destroyed and turn black. I have only seen this problem on this device. The only way to restore them is to restart the app. I researched this issue an found information on OpenGL context getting destroyed on pause. There is a setting in GLSurfaceView called setPreserveEGLContextOnPause. I am not sure if it is possible to access this setting from the SciChartSurface or not.
After seeing this, I tested the SciChart example app to see if the problem was isolated to my app, but it happened in the example app as well.
Again this is the only device I have seen this happen on and I’ve tested multiple devices.
