So I want to draw multiple charts so is there any way I can have stacked yAxes like yAxis 2 should be drawn below yAxis1. I have gone through your example and there I got that we can add multiple surface but its becoming difficult for us to show a crosshair on all surfaces since we have a custom cross hair. Can you guide on same. Thanks in advance

After upgraded SciChart to SciChart_iOS_SDK_3.0.0.5074, using rollover modifier on a SciChart surface which was embedded into a scroll view will crash the app. It crashed when user scroll horizontally on a SciChart surface inside a horizontal scrollable scrollview. It is the same with the vertically scrollable scrollview.

My X axis is SCICategoryDateTimeAxis type.

And i have a huge amount of data to display. So i need to display it by scrolling of the chart surface.
So what is the best practice to update data series on the fly and display it at the chart surface?

Why the API’s for iOS, Android and WPF are not identically?
I have seen many samples on the forum, but to adapt it to a different platform is very hard.
A lot of classes are different for each platform.

• Is there any “comparison” for the different platforms?
• Is this planned to unify the API’s?

I’m very sad because of you.

On my chart i’m added SCIZoomPanModifier with clip mode SCIClipMode_ClipAtExtents. And it well worked before i have updated lib to ‘2.0.1.1748’. Now it’s works the same way as SCIClipMode_StretchAtExtents. But i don’t want to zoom by scrolling at the edge of data.

Can you look at it and fix as soon as possible?

I am creating point data series using SCIXyScatterRenderableSeries.
I need to tap on specific data points and display pop over or some view on top of it. Pop over provides information regarding that point.

How can I implement that in iOS.

I am using sci charts to show live graphs of some devices. While displaying a graph on IPhone X or iPhone 6s it sometimes lags and lines started overlapping. It’s working fine on devices iPhone XSMax, iPhone 11. I have attached a 3 screenshots. Once when graph starts lagging, 2nd when graph is in middle, 3 when graph completes. please have a look. It starts lagging and overlapping lines when a new graph starts and when it ends it shows a complete graph shown and then again same issue repeats. It also started working correctly after some time. I need information about this issue. How to fix it and why it’s happening like this…

I had recently integrated SciChart into my app, and faced some problems with chat appearance on trial mode which are described here: https://www.scichart.com/questions/ios/issue-with-scichart-on-ios-simulator

is there a way on iOS to export a SciChartSurface to a vector format in order to embed the exported chart into a PDF document? Right now the only thing I can find in the Documentation is exportToUIImage(). If not – any ideas for a workaround until such feature is implemented?

I am planning to have a graph like in attached image. Just to have only X values and additional Label provider on it and an indication to point the value like black arrow.

My axis is SCICategoryDateTimeAxis type. And using SCIZoomPanModifier (SCIClipMode_ClipAtExtents) to scroll chart

I’m using setVisibleRangeLimit: method to clip the axis during ZoomExtents

Until v. 2.0.0.1511 it’s work like a charm. But now something had have broken. And it’s doesn’t allow me to scroll chart at right way. It show me all of the data range on chart or only left side.

So can you fix it?

I have some troubles with piecharts in swift. I want to provide custom labels outside of the piecharts segments. I found a screenshot of a nested piechart attached to an issue in your issue tracker. Thats what I want to do in swift, but I couldn’t find out a way to do so. Could you please provide an example code?

I’m trying to limit the x-axis panning up to an annotation that I’ve drawn on the graph. This annotation can be beyond the current data’s position (i.e. data’s timestamp is at 5/4/2017 11:00:00, annotation’s position is at 5/4/2017 16:00:00). Is there a method, or any way that I can use to limit the x-axis panning up to the annotation’s position instead of limiting it to the data series’ max X?

Hello, I’m trailing your library right now. I would like to be able to move the graph around as well as a cursor on the graph. So I enabled both SCIZoomPanModifier and SCICursorModifier. But since both use one finger panning, the result wasn’t that good. Do you have any guidance for solving the conflict and letting them working together? I’m thinking to do it in the following way: if the touch location is within certain pixel range of the cursor, panning action will move the cursor, otherwise it moves the graph. Is it possible? I’m interesting in alignment for line at SCIAxisMarkerAnnotation. For example for top, middle and bottom position. Like at alignment_to_top.png. So is there some possibility for this?

UDP: Is there possibility to hide annotation from chart view?
Something like setHidden: for UIView.

Good day! I have download this zip archive SciChart_iOS_SDK_4.2.0.5533.zip, on my laptop. Opened it and can not find the file SciChart.xcframework, according description from this article. I need to add library to Xcode frameworks, but I can not do it. Please can you tell me where can I get this file.

I am trying to zoom and pan the line graph in my macOS app the zoom is working but I am not able to pan through the zoomed graph its not at all scrolling and also I wanted to know how can I add click event on the graph so that I can display some more data on click at a particular coordinate apart from tooth. I have shared my view controller. I will really appreciate any help as I have spend a lot of time figure this out and have no clue where to go from here.

Good day guys. I have download SciChart_iOS_SDK_4.2.0.5533 on Macbook M1. And try to integrate ios-arm64_armv7 verions to my project. I have added SciChart.xcframework to frameworks in Xcode 12.4. But the build is failed with a few errors:

1. unable to load standard library for target arm-64-apple-ios9.0
2. Failed to build module ‘SciChart’ from its module interface, it may have been damaged or it may have triggered a bug in Swift compiler when it was produced.

Can you tell me please did I use the right version of SciChart.xcframework for apple silicone? And how to solve this errors?

I cannot get SCILinearGradientBrushStyle working on a donut chart. Only radial gradients work

Is there kind of a delegate that notify me if the user uses the crosshair/SCIRolloverModifier?
I want to know which value he is inspecting to show him further information outside the chart for this datapoint.

I’m trying to make a chart with a “toggle function”.

The “toggle function” what i wanted to make is this.

1. enter to UIViewController which Chart is in it
2. before singleTap on a chart, a chart has zoomPanModifier, XAxisDragModifier,, etc
3. after make singleTap on the chart, that chart has only CursorModifier.
4. CursorModifier’s UI stays on chart without disappearing and i can move crossed line to specific point i want (just like what CursorModifier originally does)
5. another single tap on chart would make a chart to have all other modifiers but CursorModifer.

What I have made successfully was 1,2,3,5 . not 4.

The way i was going to solve this problem was make fake touch event on Chart view and
snatch UIGestureRecognizer Event and let ChartView think they’re being touched till I give stop signal

But I heard that there is no more way to pass fake touch to UIView.

So I’m feeling difficulty on this problem…..

is there any easy way to solve this problem?

When calling SCIThemeManager.ApplyTheme(Surface, SCIThemeManager.SCIChart_Bright_SparkStyleKey); within a the code-behind running on the iPhoneSimulator running iOS 13.2, the iOS system throws an Objective-C exception with the following details:

Foundation.MonoTouchException: 'Objective-C exception thrown.  Name: NSInternalInconsistencyException Reason: applyThemeProvider: must be implemented in subclass

Although the exact same pattern works without issue on the corresponding Xamarin.Android project and the examples that call this line seem to be OK too, it is not clear from any documentation what this issue could be. Any advice would be appreciated.

The wick for the up candlestick go through the body while the down candlestick do not. How can I make the wick inside the body part disappear? I didn’t change any settings of stroke and fill style. Thanks.
