Hello Sagar Gorla, here are steps I’ve performed trying to reproduce your problem:
- get [Simple Scatter 3D] example
- run it on three different visual studios (VS2015, VS2017, VS2019)
- using step #2 I’ve tried to run that example with v6.0 and with version 5.4.1.12192
- also I have played with target NetFramework 4.6 => 4.7 => 4.8
and I haven’t faced any exception during zoomIn\zoomOut or dragging.
So based on that, can I ask to prepare and send to us some sample application(which you’re already have) with the code that reproduces your problem with the references saved, so we can run it on our machines and check if it fails on our side.
Also it would be nice to have your machine specifications like what VisualStudios you have installed on your machine, what version of NetFramework installed(and used in your example) you have, also building tools version and so on.
So far what we have now is not enough to reproduce and investigate your problem.

Hello Team,
Please find the attached application which we worked on and regarding machine specification it is as follows:
OS : Windows 7 Professional
RAM : 8 GB
Processor: Core i5 CPU @2.80 Ghz
Graphics : Intel HD Graphics 4600
Visual Studio version : Visual Studio 2015
.Net Framework :4.8
Sci Chart Version: 5.5.0.12211 (This i found from https://support.scichart.com/index.php?/Knowledgebase/Article/View/17232/37/getting-nightly-builds-with-nuget)
Note : In the Attached application we have deleted all the dll’s from bin/debug folder and also removed all the packages which we have installed as there is a restriction on Updoad file size.
I the above sample example we tried to bind Hundred Thousand Points and to Reproduce the Access Violation Exception issues we have to zoom-in zoom-out or hold and drag to move the chart in different directions and continue it for 4-5 minutes the Simple Scatter Chart 3D stops working and we will get Access Violation Exception.
Please let us know if you need anything else than above mentioned.
Thanks

Hello,
We have used the Simple Scatter Chart 3D from the Sci Chart Example Suite provided in the trial version and to Reproduce the Access Violation Exception issues we have to zoom-in zoom-out or hold and drag to move the chart in different directions and continue it.
After 4-5 minutes the Simple Scatter Chart 3D stops working and we will get Access Violation Exception.
Please find the attached screenshot for the reference .
Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the spec, it helps a lot. We have had problems in Intel HD graphics drivers in the past and the solution is to update graphics drivers. I would try that and also try out our WPF v6 BETA which is available here: https://github.com/ABTSoftware/SciChart.Wpf.Examples/tree/SciChart_v6_Release and a temporary license key for it here: https://www.scichart.com/beta-edition-of-scichart-wpf-sdk-6-now-available/ In our v6 SDK the graphics engine has been complletely re-written and improved. If the error occurs in v5 but not v6 we will consider it resolved.

Hello Andrew,
As per your suggestion i have updated graphics drivers but it didn’t worked i was still getting “Access Violation Exception”
then i tried the 2nd approx which is to downloaded the WPF v6 BETA dll from the below mentioned URL
I have replaced it with the existing Sci-Chart v5 dll’s using package manager console in my sample Sci Chart (Simple Scatter Chart 3D) application but i am getting exceptions at runtime in app.xaml .
I have also tried to download WPF v6 BETA release examples from below URL :
https://github.com/ABTSoftware/SciChart.Wpf.Examples/tree/SciChart_v6_Release
but i was not able unzip the files as it was throwing exceptions
Please find the attached screen shots for better exception related screenshots
I request you to please provide us with a Simple Scatter Chart 3D sample application using latest SciChart version (v6)
Thanks and Regards..

Regarding WPF v6, this will require .NET Core 3 SDK and .NET 4.5.2 installed. You will also need Visual Studio 2019. Do you have these? I have created a sample for you which is standalone and if you have the above SDKs you should be able to build and run. https://www.scichart.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/11/Simple-Scatter-3D-Example-v6Beta.zip Best regards, Andrew

We are not using ( .Net core ) and we have already mentioned the specification which we are currently using and we want this Sci Chart to be working with the Specification we mentioned above which is also working fine except the memory issue is (Access Violation Exception ) request you to help us out in the above scenario.
