Hello,

i have a realtime chart and per default there should be AutoRange=true.
Now the user want to zoom in – the autorange prevent this.

I think, I have to switch off the AutoRange when the user zoom in and switch on AutoRange when the user doubleclick (zoomextendsmodifier). But how can I identify if the user has zoomed?

Or is there another solution?

Since this is a frequently asked question, please see our FAQ on Zooming in real time charts when AutoRange is enabled.

We now have an documented workaround in the Knowledgebase showing how to mix Zoom, Pan modifiers with AutoRange. This is the technique we use in the Real Time Ticking Stock Charts example to automatically scroll the latest N points, but allow zooming and panning as well.

Best regards,
Yuriy
