Hi Andrew,
I was trying to attach an export to file feature of the charts using a context menu
but even if in that instance i have the specific sciChartSurface object i am unable to find the ExportToFile method.
I have also read the following article but even so i havn’nt solved.
// Saving chart to file with specified file format
surface.ExportToFile(saveFileDialog.FileName,exportType);
missing something ? maybe its not supported in my version and scenario ?
Thks for your attention
Kind regards
Giuseppe

Hi Giuseppe,
Silverlight itself doens’t have the permissions to export to file. But I think you can render to a BitmapSource using the overload SciChartSurface.ExportToBitmapSource then either save (requires some clever hackery) or copy to clipboard (same).
Let me know if this helps,
Best regards,
Andrew
