I have some 3 dimension data that I have successfully generated a 3D surface mesh chart out from in WPF. However, I want to generate a 2D plot from the 3D chart given some parameters (e.g. a x-value, a y-value etc.). Can anyone advise on the best way to extract a 2D plot from a 3D chart?

Hi Gil,

Thanks for your inquiry. I am sorry for the late reply.

SciChart requires a properly created DataSeries that will be used for each RenderableSeries you add.
Please take a look at the corresponding documentation page for more info:
https://www.scichart.com/documentation/win/current/webframe.html#DataSeries%20Types%20in%20SciChart.html

However, preparing the data for DataSeries is up to you. You can store and extract it the way that suits your application the best.

With best regards,
Lex
