Hello,

I want to display statistical data using a violin plot. Is it possible to create a violin plot using SciChart?
A violin plot is similar to a box plot, with the addition of a rotated kernel density plot on each side.

Hi Tobias, Thanks for your inquiry. The Violin Chart type is not supported out of the box currently. However, I’ll discuss the possible solutions with our team and will get back to you as soon as I have an update. Kind regards, Lex, SciChart Technical Support Engineer

Hi Lex, is there a possible solution? Otherwise we have to display the violin chart using https://plotly.net/distribution-charts/violin-plots.html in a WebView2 control. But I would like to avoid that. regards, Tobias

Hello SciChart Team,

can you please answer if there is a solution to create a violin plot? Can it be done through annotations? Or can some classes be overridden like it is possible here:

Tobias
