In the online demo the Stacked side by side column chart says,
“The StackedColumnRenderableSeries can be used to render columns stacked one above another, side by side, or a Left or Right aligned Bar Chart.”
I’m just wondering how to tell the chart to stack side by side versus one above the other, etc.

Hi there,

Unfortunately, there isn’t any inbuilt way to create the stacked side by side column series. However, similar visual appearance can be achieved using the workaround, demonstrated in the example.

BTW, this task is in our to-do list and hopefully we will deliver it within the next release.

Please, let us know if the provided workaround is suitable for you, and if we can be of help with an implementation.

Best regards,

Hi Yuriy, That workaround not quite work for us. We can have up to 10 SideBySide series and it is required to show tooltips with exact X/Y values. You indicated that hopefully you will deliver this feature in your next release. May I know how long can it take? Thanks & Regards, Charith

We have planned release at the end of this year/very beginning of the next. But there are a lot of tasks with higher priority which need to be done(such as axes/titles styling, multi touch support, speed improvements...), so we cannot guarantee side-by-side columns feature will appear in this release. However, we are working on that and will provide it ASAP, so it can be included in the nearest update, if not in the major release. I will update you about status of this task. Best regards, Yuriy
