We have lots of use cases where livedata is appended to exisiting series. The data has gone through algorithms, is not time-based and so is unsorted. Better said, it’s scientific data, for e.g. Bode-, Nyquist diagrams
Can we make the SeriesValueModifier style so it places the latest value also at the x-position ? Currently we have CustomAnnotations for this, which seems a clumsy work-around.

Hello,
After four years, I’m revisiting an issue we previously encountered.
We’re working with unsorted data and need to implement a feature similar to the VerticalSliceModifier with the Tooltips. However, our requirement is to highlight a specific data point, with the ability to change this point using the mouse (like the VerticalSliceModifier) or the keyboard (to move to the next or previous point based on the data index).
Could you provide guidance on how to develop a “HorizontalVerticalSliceModifier” that fits these needs?
Thank you in advance for your assistance.
Best regards,
Paul

Good morning Paul, the way our forum works, it’s not very easy for the dev team to get notifications old questions – I suggest opening a new question? Please provide some code of what you’ve tried so far (if applicable) and detailed description of what’s required. We’ll do our best to help. Thanks!
