How can I shift my X Axis position upwards? I need to shift X Axis so that I can place some labels below it.

Could you maybe specify what you need using an image? Best regards, Andrew

Attached is the pictorial presentation of what I am looking for. By doing this shift of axis, I can place labels below the axis so that they wont overlap on axis ticks.

Hi Anil,

The question & image don’t make much sense. You say you want to shift the XAxis UP but then say that you don’t want the XAxis shifted up so that the labels are below the ticks. Which is it?

By default, SciChart should display labels below the ticks and they won’t overlap. If this is a problem, you can try adding a bit of margin or padding to axis ticks? See this article which shows how to template or style the axis labels.

Best regards,
Andrew

Thanks for the link. I will go through it. Basically in my post I said that I want to shift the x-axis upwards so that if I place vertical annotation with a label then it will be displayed below the axis (not overlapping the axis ticks)

Hi Marietta, unfortunately it is not possible to shift the axis and still have the VerticalLineAnnotation label below the axis. It is possible to shift the entire axis, but this will also shift the VerticalLineAnnotation axis label. Best regards, Andrew
