Using Abt.Controls.SciChart.Wpf i got Object reference not set to an instance of an object. error

I am using Abt.Controls.SciChart.Wpf dll(Version ) in our project and got an error ‘Object reference not set to an instance of an object’ when i do mousewheel scroll over symbol drop down and move the mouse over the scichart surface while scrolling and the error stack trace is

We recommend using the latest SciChart v5.x. It has a lot of improvements since v3.x and SciChart v3.x as well as 4.x is no longer supported.

Please update your project. If you continue experiencing this issue please send us a small sample project reproducing it for investigation.
