Optional annotationLayer

annotationLayer: EAnnotationLayer

description: The layer to place the annotation on. See EAnnotationLayer for a list of values
remarks: applicable only to WebGL annotations

The fill color for the adorner drag handle

Optional annotationsGripsRadius

annotationsGripsRadius: number

The radius of the adorner drag handle

annotationsGripsStroke: string

The stroke color for the adorner drag handle

Optional background

background: string

The background of the NativeTextAnnotation

remarks: Acceptable values include RGB format e.g. #FF0000, RGBA format e.g. #FF000077`` and RGBA format e.g.rgba(255,0,0,0.5)```

Optional clipping

clipping: EAnnotationClippingMode | string

What to clip the annotation to. An EAnnotationClippingMode. Default SeriesViewRect

Optional dragPoints

dragPoints: keyof EDraggingGripPoint[]

The dragPoints that should be enabled for this annotation

Optional fontFamily

fontFamily: string

The fontFamily for the NativeTextAnnotation

Optional fontSize

fontSize: number

The fontSize for the NativeTextAnnotation

Optional horizontalAnchorPoint

horizontalAnchorPoint: EHorizontalAnchorPoint

Sets horizontal anchor point

Optional id

id: string

A unique Id for the IAnnotation

Optional isEditable

isEditable: boolean

description: if true, the annotation is editable (can be dragged and manipulated by the user)

Optional isHidden

isHidden: boolean

description: if true, the annotation is hidden

Optional isSelected

isSelected: boolean

When true, the annotation is in the selected state

Optional lineSpacing

lineSpacing: number

The spacing between lines. Default 3 If a whole number then treated as pixels. If between 0 and 1 then treated as a fraction of line height

Optional multiLineAlignment

multiLineAlignment: EMultiLineAlignment

Sets the horizontal alignment mode for multiline text

Optional onClick

onClick: ((args: AnnotationClickEventArgs) => void) | string

Callback function called when the annotation is clicked. Fires even for non Editable annotations

Optional onDrag

onDrag: ((args: AnnotationDragDeltaEventArgs) => void) | string

Callback function called when drag operation is in progress. Only applicable if isEditable is true

Optional onDragEnded

onDragEnded: (() => void) | string

Callback function called when drag has ended. Only applicable if isEditable is true

Optional onDragStarted

onDragStarted: (() => void) | string

Callback function called when drag has started. Only applicable if isEditable is true

Optional onHover

onHover: ((args: AnnotationHoverEventArgs) => void) | string

Callback function called when the annotation is hovered. Fires even for non Editable annotations

Optional opacity

opacity: number

Sets an opacity override for the entire annotation, from 0..1

Optional padding

padding: Thickness

The padding for the NativeTextAnnotation

Optional renderLayer

renderLayer: EDefaultRenderLayer | number

The layer to draw the annotation on. If set this overrides the annotationLayer setting

Optional renderNextTo

renderNextTo: { offset: number; renderable: IOrderedRenderable | string }

Another series or annotation to draw relative to. The offset can be positive or negative and can (and usually should) be fractional

Optional renderOrder

renderOrder: number

The draw order. Larger numbers draw on top. Defaults to the position of the annotation in the annotations array.

Optional resizeDirections

resizeDirections: EXyDirection

description: set annotation resize direction

Optional rotation

rotation: number

The rotation for the NativeTextAnnotation in degrees

Optional scale

scale: number

The scale factor for the font. Default 1 This changes the size of the text without needing to create a new font with a different size

Optional scaleOnResize

scaleOnResize: boolean

Set true to make the font scale when the annotation is resized. Must set x2 as well. Cannot be used with wrapTo

Optional selectionBoxDelta

selectionBoxDelta: number

How much bigger the selection box is than the bounding box of the annotation, in pixels

Optional selectionBoxStroke

selectionBoxStroke: string

The stroke color for the adorner selection box

Optional selectionBoxThickness

selectionBoxThickness: number

The thickness of the selection box line

Optional surfaceRenderOrder

surfaceRenderOrder: number

An override to allow the annotation to appear to be drawn on a different surface to the one it is attached to. Only relevant when using subcharts

Optional text

text: string

The text for the NativeTextAnnotation

Optional textColor

textColor: string

The color for the NativeTextAnnotation

Optional verticalAnchorPoint

verticalAnchorPoint: EVerticalAnchorPoint

Sets vertical anchor point

Optional wrapTo

wrapTo: number | EWrapTo

Sets the text wrapping mode. A pure number will be treated as a pixel width. Default is undefined meaning no wrap

Optional x1

x1: number

description: the X1 coordinate of the annotation
remarks: The X1 coordinate obeys xCoordinateMode which defines whether the X1 coordinate is a pixel, data-value or relative coordinate

Optional x2

x2: number

description: the X2 coordinate of the annotation
remarks: The X2 coordinate obeys xCoordinateMode which defines whether the X2 coordinate is a pixel, data-value or relative coordinate

Optional xAxisId

xAxisId: string

The current XAxis Id that this IAnnotation is bound to

By default all Annotations will draw on the first X,Y axis pair in SciChart. If you want this to change, you must add a second axis to your SciChartSurface and link the IAnnotation by Axis Id.

Optional xCoordinateMode

xCoordinateMode: ECoordinateMode

The X-Coordinate mode. See ECoordinateMode for a list of values

remarks: Want to display an annotation stretching across the entire width (or height) or the SciChartSurface? The ECoordinateMode enum has options which allow for relative, absolute or pixel coordinates which define annotation placement.

Optional y1

y1: number

description: the Y1 coordinate of the annotation
remarks: The Y1 coordinate obeys yCoordinateMode which defines whether the Y1 coordinate is a pixel, data-value or relative coordinate

Optional y2

y2: number

description: the Y2 coordinate of the annotation
remarks: The Y2 coordinate obeys yCoordinateMode which defines whether the Y2 coordinate is a pixel, data-value or relative coordinate

Optional yAxisId

The current YAxis Id that this IAnnotation is bound to
