Static supportsWasm64

  • supportsWasm64(): boolean

  • Detects whether the current browser supports the WebAssembly Memory64 (wasm64) variant of SciChart.

    SciChart only ships a wasm64 binary that is ALSO compiled with SIMD, so this returns true only when BOTH Memory64 and SIMD are supported. Note that Memory64 support is a strict subset of SIMD support (e.g. Safari supports SIMD but not Memory64 as of 2025), so this must always be paired with a wasm32 fallback.

    The result is cached after the first call.

    Returns boolean

    true if both Memory64 and SIMD are supported, false otherwise

Static supportsWasmSIMD

  • supportsWasmSIMD(): boolean

  • Detects whether the current browser supports WebAssembly SIMD instructions. This code is run once and the result is cached. If your browser supports Wasm SIMD then all following calls will return true
