Whats' New in SciChart.js SDK v2.2
SciChart.js v2.2 is minor update which is backward compatible to version 2.0. Our team has added lots of minor features to improve SciChart, including more styling options, pie chart enhancements, new chart types and more.

New Oil & Gas Showcase Demo
We've created a showcase demo showing how SciChart.js can be used in Oil & Gas dashboards. Incorporating a vertical chart with many different visualisations, a trellis chart and 3d chart, this dashboard has a working code sample to show the flexibility of SciChart.js.

Stacked Mountain Chart has PaletteProvider
Seen in the Oil & Gas demo above, the Stacked Mountain chart now supports PaletteProvider API, allowing you to colour individual segments based on a rule.
Axis Improvements
- Axis can now set Background Color
- You can Draw Series behind the axis
Other minor improvements
Lots of minor improvements! Including:
- Allow placing tooltip outside chart with placementDivId
- Get notification on series.isVisibleChanged, or legend row checkbox checked changed.
- Added easy way to load wasm from CDN with SciChartSurface.useWasmFromCDN()
- Enabled SciChart.js to work in the shadow DOM by passing a DOM element to SciChartSurface.create()
- Allow CategoryAxis to render charts without data by setting defaultXStart, defaultXStep.
- Added a NumericDateTimeAxis type
- Multiple bug fixes and improvements
