Deactivate & Request Refund

Built for Genuine Evaluation, Not Project Changes
This guarantee is designed for teams who genuinely evaluate SciChart and find it isn’t the right technical fit. It’s not for projects that have been cancelled, paused, or shelved for other reasons.
Terms & Conditions
Eligibility
- Applies to new SciChart licence purchases only after 1st May 2026.
- Refund requests must be submitted within 90 days of purchase.
- The licence must be deactivated, all keys must be deactivated and deleted, and all work products, including SciChart, must be deleted before any refund is issued.
- One refund request per licence purchase, subject to SciChart approval
Conditions for a refund
A refund will be considered where all of the following are met:
- Defined requirements – You have provided a reasonable description of your intended use case, including expected functionality and performance requirements.
- Active evaluation – The product has been actively evaluated in good faith against those requirements.
- Support engagement – You have engaged with SciChart Technical Support, providing sufficient information to investigate (e.g. requirements, code samples, logs, or reproducible examples) and allowed reasonable opportunity for SciChart to diagnose and attempt to resolve the issue.
- Material technical limitation – The product materially fails to meet capabilities described in official SciChart documentation, product pages, or pre-sales communications, and this failure prevents your intended use case.
Exclusions
Refunds will not be granted where:
- The request relates to functionality that was not advertised or documented.
- The issue concerns implementation approach, integration effort, or required development work.
- The project has been cancelled, paused, reprioritised, reduced in scope, or replaced for non-technical reasons.
- The product has been deployed in production or made available to external users.
- The product meets its documented capabilities but does not align with subjective preferences or alternative design choices.
SciChart reserves the right to assess each request on its merits and approve refunds at its discretion in line with these terms.
