1. General Terms
Resellers or purchasing departments may purchase licenses on behalf of an end-user or list SciChart products on their website without a formal agreement, subject to the following terms:
2. Purchasing Licenses
- Resellers may purchase licenses from SCICHART LTD or FastSpring (BrightMarket LLC) via our website on behalf of their clients.
- During checkout, resellers must select “I am a Reseller” and provide both the purchaser’s and end-user’s information.
- Licenses will be issued to the end-user, and invoices will be emailed to the reseller.
3. End-User Information
- Resellers must disclose the end-user company name, primary contact, and email when purchasing licenses.
- Without this information, end-users will not receive access to support, updates, or license activation.
4. Pricing & Discounts
- Resellers may add a processing fee to the cost of SciChart licenses, to be agreed with their client.
- Resellers may utilize renewal or multi-purchase discounts, but no other discounts will be provided when acting as an intermediary.
- Discounts are non-transferable across clients. For example:
- If Client A has purchased five licenses, Client B cannot claim the 30% multi-purchase discount.
- Similarly, if Client A is due for renewal, Client B may not purchase the license at the renewal discounted price.
5. Activation, Support & Updates
- SciChart reserves the right to deny activation, support, or updates for licenses issued in the reseller’s name rather than the end-user’s name.
- End-users must be listed to access services such as updates and technical support.
6. Compliance with Licensing Terms
- Both resellers and end-users must comply with SciChart’s Licensing Terms & Conditions, Privacy Policy, and Software License Agreement (SLA).
7. Termination of Agreement
- SciChart reserves the right to terminate any reseller agreement or arrangement with 30 days’ written notice.
8. Acceptance of Terms
- By accessing SciChart’s website, purchasing licenses, or reselling SciChart products, you acknowledge and accept these Terms and Conditions in full.
- Reselling SciChart’s products or using the website implies full acceptance of the said Terms and Conditions, Privacy Policy, and SLA.
9. Governing Policy
- These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
- Resellers are encouraged to regularly consult SciChart’s website for updated Terms and Conditions.
