Hi,

I compare charting API to choose the best for my marketing application.
I’m very happy with your performance but I can not get a look as attractive as other APIs.

For example I would like to implement transition effect (animation) .
Highlighted when the mouse overview of a series .
Round up some angles on bars , …,

is it possible or even creating its own special components or API is not scheduled for this stuff ?

Thank you

Hi Sylvain,

There is no way to have a transition / animation on mouse-hover of a point out of the box. The reason why SciChart doesn’t implement these features is performance. You’ve already noted that other chart providers (which have nicer effects) are too slow đŸ™‚

Something you can do though is look at our Dashboard Style Charts demo (WPF Examples Suite -> Dashboard Style Charts). This has some animation effects such as zooming to auto-range on chart data change.

Hope this helps!

Best regards,
Andrew

Andrew thank you for your honest.
With a little trick you just get some very nice charts.
And yes , the performance is his biggest quality đŸ™‚
