Hi there,

You can use ClipModeTargetX property and set it to use VisibleRangeLimit value for clipping. Then set desired range for VisibleRangeLimit on axis.

    final DoubleRange visibleRangeLimit = new DoubleRange(0d, 1d);
    xAxis.setVisibleRangeLimit(visibleRangeLimit);

    final ZoomPanModifier zoomPanModifier = new ZoomPanModifier();
    zoomPanModifier.setClipModeTargetX(ClipModeTarget.VisibleRangeLimit);

Is this suitable for your needs?

Hope this will help you!
Best regards,
Yura
