We recently upgraded from an old version of SciChart (3.1) and I’ve been updating our solution to use the latest binaries. Previously, we were setting the series source of a chart based on a trigger. However, after switching to the RenderableSeries=”{s:SeriesBinding …}” I discovered that we can’t use the SeriesBinding in a setter. Is there a way to do this with a trigger or do I need to do this in the code behind instead?
<Trigger Property="SelectedChannelSet" Value="0">
<Setter TargetName="DetailsChart" Property="SeriesSource" Value="{Binding RelativeSource={RelativeSource TemplatedParent}, Path=ChartModel.ChannelOneAndTwoChartSeries}" />
</Trigger>
<Trigger Property="SelectedChannelSet" Value="1">
<Setter TargetName="DetailsChart" Property="SeriesSource" Value="{Binding RelativeSource={RelativeSource TemplatedParent}, Path=ChartModel.ChannelThreeAndFourChartSeries}" />
</Trigger>
Thanks,
Tim

I have some FastLineRenderableSeries that display the user’s real time data.
I let the user set a trigger for a specific line and when the line crosses the trigger value the SciChartSurface freezes.
I would like to add that when this happens, the activated point will be highlighted or mark in a way the user will see exactly where it is…
Is there a simple way to do this?
(the orange line is the trigger…)

I do not seem to be able to set the property YAxis.Visibility of BaseRenderableSeries as part of a Trigger.
<Style TargetType="s:BaseRenderableSeries">
<Style.Triggers>
<Trigger Property="IsVisible" Value="True">
<Setter Property="YAxis.Visibility" Value="Visible"/>
</Trigger>
<Trigger Property="IsVisible" Value="False">
<Setter Property="YAxis.Visibility" Value="Collapsed"/>
</Trigger>
</Style.Triggers>
</Style>
I want to make the associated yAxis Visiblity be a function of whether the matching Renderable Series is visible or not. I checked and BaseRenderableSeries has a YAxis property that can be set. Why is “YAxis.Visibility” in the setter property throwing an error in xaml?
Note: I have multiple yAxes in one surface and each renderable series has its own yAxis
Thanks
