Hello
In your Licensing FAQ you state that:
– You will need to purchase 1 license for each developer* on your team.
– You do not need to purchase licenses for Build Servers or Testers
– A developer is defined as ‘an individual who compiles, debugs and develops against code which references SciChart DLLs’.
We do have licenses for developers, but we also have testers in our team which sometimes “debug code which reference SciChart DLLs”. Testers are not interested in any SciChart related code though. Do these Testers need a SciChart license as well? Or could they work with a trial license?
Thank you and best regards
Daniel

Hi Daniel,
Testers, build servers and end users (users who run your application but are not developers) do not need to be licensed under SciChart’s licensing model.
However, as there is no way for licensing code to differentiate between a person who debugs code, and a person who debugs + develops code then if a tester fires up a Visual Studio application containing SciChart they will see blank charts unless licensed.
If you contact us we can discuss in more detail and we may be able to give you a workaround.
Best regards,
Andrew
