Hi Abhilash,

Thanks for your inquiry.
We do not officially support MAUI at the moment. Also, we haven’t tested SciChart for Xamarin.Forms with MAUI apps yet.

If it is a priority for you, you can contact our support at [email protected] for further details.

With best regards,
Oleksandr

Hi, as .NET MAUI has officially been released by Microsoft, are there plans now to support .NET MAUI in the future? It doesn’t look like .NET MAUI is going away and I believe it is now officially going to replace Xamarin Forms.

Yes we currently have multiple Xamarin.Forms apps using SciChart on both iOS and Android. We’re looking to move to Maui so really could do with libraries we can use from Maui (even if we have to wrap the native APIs ourself as we have done for Xamarin.Forms). I’m assuming (but haven’t tested) the existing Xamarin iOS/Android wrappers aren’t usable from Maui?

Hi Russell, we’re still not actively perusing Maui, but rather focussing on the core products: maintaining & developing scichart wpf, ios, android plus scichart.js. MS produces a log of frameworks as you know! One of our customers produced an open source Blazor wrapper. Also our Xamarin.Forms wrapper is public on github for scichart ios/android here (https://www.scichart.com/blog/how-we-built-xamarin-forms-wrapper-for-scichart-mobile/). Is this something you can help us modify for Maui? We don’t know much about the framework. Best regards, Andrew

Hi Andrew, we have generated our own Xamarin.Forms wrappers for iOS and Android using the existing Xamarin.iOS and Xamarin.Android packages. I haven’t investigated if it’s possible to use these at all in Maui and do the same. Or if we’d have to go back to the native iOS/Android packages and wrap them in the way you currently generate your Xamarin.iOS and Xamarin.Android packages. But this is definitely something we’re interested in as we will be moving fully to Maui at some point (as it’s basically Xamarin 6) and would like to stick with SciChart. Once I have some time to start looking in to this, I’ll share any progress I make back here as we’d really like to see SciChart usable in Maui. Thanks Russell

Any update on this? We are planning to migrate from Xamarin forms on priority.
