Hi,
i have a SciChartSurface with DateTimeAxis as xAxis and a NumericAxis as yAxis.
The fifo capacity is 500 points.
Now what i want to archieve is that when i zoom in that the visible range updates in a matter that its moving with the fifo and not to be frozen and at some point in time see how the data points are discarded.
I already implemented a CustomRubberBandZoomModifier which disables autoranging on Zoom and enables it after Zoom to Extents.
How could i archieve this like shown in the attached image?
Thank you already in advance.

Hi Armin, this is a complex question, but ultimately comes down to manipulating the xAxis.VisibleRange to keep it scrolling but in a fixed width. We have some examples here on how to create a Strip chart here https://www.scichart.com/documentation/win/current/webframe.html#Tutorial%2006%20-%20Adding%20Realtime%20Updates.html (one that scrolls, but stops scrolling once you click to zoom/pan – which I think you’re aware of as you’re using ZoomState). I’ll put this in front of the WPF team and see if we can create some example code for you.

Thank you very much.

Hi Armin,
I am sorry for the late reply.
We discussed your inquiry and logged it for further investigation.
Unfortunately, our team is busy with other tasks currently and can’t take a look at this right now.
Could you please tell how critical is this feature for your project and what are your deadlines?
Thanks in advance.
With best regards,
Lex
