I’v tried the latest version[6.5] of SciChart WPF suite and THEN I activated an older version [6.2] in the same computer. Of course, the serial key was left by an ex-colleague. It’s strange that I can activate ver 6.2 and succeed to get a run-time key. But the key cannot be recongnized by the program. It said I didn’t input a run time key in the render surface.
What’ worse, there are no entities rendered in the SciChartSurface. Just show a blank one.
This issue could be reproduced by the following steps:
1. use a trial version of the latest SciChart;
2. activate an older version using an expired license key. [royalty use, right?]
If I reinstall the OS, and use ver 6.2 directly, all works well.
We’ve brought several 6.2 s, I think reinstall OS is not a smart method to solve this. Could it be solved in a more easy way?

I cannot login in Licensing Wizard now. It tells : Wrong credentials or You do not have a user account yet? You can create one here – scichart.com/register

I’ve encontoured the same problem. The runtime Key generated by the official SciChart Licensing Wizard would be recongnized as a invalid key. I use 6.3 WPF version.
How to solve:
google the following keywords: scichart keygen, the exe will generate a license file automatically. Then all problems disappear~

Hi Niu mag,
Your support subscription expired in June 2021, however you should be able to use version(s) of SciChart which were released before then. Unfortunately we haven’t tested out and don’t support side-by-side licensing of different SciChart versions.
You can delete all the licensing info on your computer in the licensing wizard by going to here. This will reset your computer to the default status (no license) and you can try again.
We would suggest using one license at a time, for example, Trial or Activated v6.2. Not both as that won’t work.
If you would like to renew your support subscription so that our team can assist you with tech support, please contact sales
Best regards,
Andrew

This did not solve my problem. I can “activate” my scichart in the licensing wizard and the apps didn’t display any licensing infos. But there are still no entity rendered in the scichart.

After these procedures, I get a blank SciChartSurface with no licensing relevant info

This does not look like a licensing issue but instead a crash or exception. If the chart is unlicensed you will see a warning message in the middle of the chart. I would suggest to check visual studio output window for errors in the console or check for exceptions thrown. You can also try following our troubleshooting steps for licensing here https://www.scichart.com/licensing-scichart-wpf. For a deeper investigation I’m afraid we only provide tech support to customers with an active support subscription. If you renew this you will be able to access our support desk where developers will assist you. Thanks!

What’s strange is that, if change the system date to a day before expiry date, I can get a reasonable figure with all entities rendered.
