It is 6 years ago. Is it still not supported?
Extending a graph using GrowBy is not adequate for me because what I need is to draw a point on the border not to extend the graph.

In WPF, unfortunately no.
The drawing area is restricted to the viewport inside the axis. So we cannot draw shapes outside that area. Changing it was too much of a breaking change for our users.
In versions of SciChart like javascript we’ve overcome this limitation by allowing you to draw behind the axis or inside them but the functionality is not available in WPF.
