When I ran the sample “iOS & macOS Audio, Radio frequency and Spectrum Analyzer” of “SciChart.iOS.Examples-SciChart_v4_Release”,
HeatMap graphs are not displayed on 5th generation iPads.

For iPads of generations higher than the 5th generation, the HeatMap graph is displayed.
Does SchiCharts_v4 not support 5th generation iPads?

The environment is as follows.
IOS 15.2

I am considering applying server-side licensing for my javerScript application.

In the document below, there is a phrase “Our server-side licensing component is written in C++.”
(https://support.scichart.com/index.php?/Knowledgebase/Article/View/17256/42/)

However, there is only asp.net sample code on the provided github.
(https://github.com/ABTSoftware/SciChart.JS.Examples/tree/master/Sandbox/demo-dotnet-server-licensing)

I wonder if there is a sample code implemented in C++ for server-side licensing.

Can you provide c++ sample code?
Also, are there any examples to run on Ubuntu?

Hi Sir/Madam,
I have created a Mountain Series with gradient fill. below is part of my code:

-(SCIRenderableSeriesBase *)getTimeSharePlot:(SCIXyDataSeries*)xySeries{
    SCIFastMountainRenderableSeries * rSeries = [SCIFastMountainRenderableSeries new];
    rSeries.dataSeries = xySeries;
    rSeries.strokeStyle = [[SCISolidPenStyle alloc] initWithColor:[UIColor colorWithRed:0 green:0 blue:0 alpha:1] withThickness:1];
    rSeries.areaStyle = [[SCILinearGradientBrushStyle alloc] initWithColorStart:[UIColor colorWithRed:32/255.0 green:56/255.0 blue:124/255.0 alpha:1.0] finish:[UIColor whiteColor] direction:SCILinearGradientDirection_Vertical];

    return rSeries;
}

When i run the test, the chart is just filling with solid color
Would you please help?

I’m trying to accomplish 2 things:

First is that I would like to not be able to zoom out past the data, it does no good to zoom out if there is no more data to see. It would also be nice to have a little bounce/spring back if you zoom to far, like when zooming out on an image on an iPhone.

The second is that I only want to be able to pan to the data. If zoomed all the way out, then trying to pan would do nothing. If zoomed in you should be able to scroll around, but only to the end of the data.

I believe I have the first one accomplished by setting the maximalZoomContrain to be the same as the data range, although this doesn’t allow any kind of bounce.

What need to be done to make this work, this seems like a feature that is built into the SciChart Modifiers.

Hi

I have a SCIFastLineRenderableSeries backed by data in SCIXyDataSeries.

I setup FIFO to 300 (this just a number I may increase, but it stores 30+ seconds of data)

x data is time stamp.

each time I have new data, I set a new visibleRange to show about 30 seconds of data on screen

xAxis.visibleRange = [[SCIDoubleRange alloc] initWithMin:SCIGeneric(secondSinceStart-31) Max:SCIGeneric(secondSinceStart)];

So this will scroll along showing latest 30 seconds of data. And that’s great.

But I want to scroll to the left to view the older data. because of the visibleRange is set I am not able to touch the axis labels and do anything)

how do I set the visibleRange or maybe not set it, so I can enable the scroll.

Here is the drag modifier I use , but I think it does not do anything either because of the visibleRange
SCIXAxisDragModifier * xAxisDragmodifier = [SCIXAxisDragModifier new];
xAxisDragmodifier.dragMode = SCIAxisDragMode_Pan;
xAxisDragmodifier.clipModeX = SCIClipMode_None;

Thanks

Hi,

I am using SciChart_iOS_SDK_3.0.0.5074 with Swift 5.

I want to show string type on X-axis. I am using below code snippet.

class YearsLabelProvider: SCILabelProviderBase<SCINumericAxis> {

   var xLabels: [String] = ["Test", "Test", "Test", "Test", "Test", "Test", "Test", "Test", "Test", "Test", "Test", "Test", "Test", "Test"]

   func update(_ axis: ISCIAxisCore!) { }

   override func formatLabel(_ dataValue: ISCIComparable!) -> ISCIString! {
        let index = Int(dataValue.toDouble())
        return NSString(string: index >= 0 && index < xLabels.count ? xLabels[index] : "")
    }

    override func formatCursorLabel(_ dataValue: ISCIComparable!) -> ISCIString! {
        let index = Int(dataValue.toDouble())

        var result: String?

        if (index >= 0 && index < xLabels.count) {
            result = xLabels[index]
        }
        return NSString(string: result!)
    }
}

Application crashes while loading with the following error –

” *** Terminating app due to uncaught exception ‘Initializer not allowed Exception’, reason: ‘Parameterless initializer of Chart.YearsLabelProvider class shouldn’t be used. Please use one of the designated initializers instead'”

Kindly help us resolving this issue since this is a showstopper issue.
I would also like to know about what data SCIXyDataSeries accepts when we are working with strings.

I am setting SCIDateTimeAxis as my XAxis by using the code:

let xAxis = SCIDateTimeAxis()
xAxis.style.labelStyle.color = UIColor.darkGray
xAxis.textFormatting = “dd MMM”
xAxis.visibleRange = SCIDateRange(dateMin: 2019-07-29 11:30:00, max:2019-07-29 11:30:00)

As I have a requirement to change the application Language to THI.
How can I set the locale to the axis, so the label visible on the axis should displayed in THI language.

As right now it is always visible in english irrespective of the language like 1 sep, 20 sep, 10 oct, 30 oct, 20 nov .

Please help.

Thanks

Hi,

Using the ZoomExtentsModifier on multiple axis used to work in an earlier version of SciCharts, but is broken in 4.3.0. I have two y-axes set up, left and right on my chart, with the right-hand-side just mirroring the left. When I double-tap to zoom to the x/y range of the graph, only the x range is modified. If I disable the change listener that mirrors the range change on the primary y axis, double tap works as expected, but my right hand side y-axis no longer mirrors the primary axis range. This is how I’ve set up the dual axes:

        let yAxis = SCINumericAxis()
        yAxis.axisTitle = "Acceleration (g)"
        yAxis.axisAlignment = .left
        yAxis.visibleRangeLimitMode = .minMax
        chart?.yAxes.add( yAxis )

        // Add an additional visible yAxis to the right without label
        let yAxisRight = SCINumericAxis()
        yAxisRight.axisAlignment = .right
        yAxisRight.axisId = "yAxisRight"
        chart?.yAxes.add( yAxisRight )

        // Sync values with left (primary) axis
        yAxis.visibleRangeChangeListener = { (axis, oldRange, newRange, isAnimating) in
            yAxisRight.visibleRange = newRange
        }

Commenting out the listener at the bottom fixes the ZoomExtentsModifier problem, but is obviously not a workable solution. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Hi, guys

My axis is SCICategoryDateTimeAxis type. And using SCIZoomPanModifier (SCIClipMode_ClipAtExtents) to scroll chart

I’m using setVisibleRangeLimit: method to clip the axis during ZoomExtents

Until v. 2.0.0.1511 it’s work like a charm. But now something had have broken. And it’s doesn’t allow me to scroll chart at right way. It show me all of the data range on chart or only left side.

So can you fix it?

Best regards,

Using iOS 11.2 and Xcode 9.2 and Swift 4

My chart includes two SCIXyDataSeries objects rendered by SCIFastLineRenderableSeries. Also I am using these chart modifiers: SCIPinchZoomModifier, SCILegendModifier, SCIZoomPanModifier

My Y axis is configured with autoRange set to always. Auto range works great as I pan left-and-right. However the Y axis does not “auto range” when I disable one of the data series by tapping on the legend. When I pan left-and-right I can see the auto-range adjusting the Y axis to fit the data set that is no longer visible. Any way to fix this?

Two screen shots are attached. The first shows both data sets visible. The second shows how the Y axis does not change when I de-select the yellow data series.

I have a simple line renderable series in iOS with an SCIDateTimeAxis for X and an SCINumericAxis for Y. At this point all I’m trying to do is format the Y-axis labels and cursor labels as currency. According to the documentation, this should be as simple as:

yAxis.textFormatting = "$%f"

But it does not appear to properly use this formatting. The Y-axis is showing values like “$%f1400” when formatting a value for 14.

So, I instead attempted creating my own label provider by overriding SCINumericLabelProvider:

class CurrencyLabelProvider: SCINumericLabelProvider {

static let formatter: NumberFormatter = {
    let formatter = NumberFormatter()
    formatter.numberStyle = .currency
    return formatter
}()

override func formatLabel(_ dataValue: SCIGenericType) -> NSAttributedString! {
    let value = dataValue.doubleData
    let string = CurrencyLabelProvider.formatter.string(from: NSNumber(value: value))!
    return NSAttributedString(string: string)
}
}

Then assigning:

yAxis.labelProvider = CurrencyLabelProvider()

This works to properly format the axis labels. So, I also override SCINumericLabelProvider to provide the cursor labels:

 override func formatCursorLabel(_ dataValue: SCIGenericType) -> NSAttributedString! {
    let value = dataValue.doubleData
    let string = CurrencyLabelFormatter.formatter.string(from: NSNumber(value: value))!
    return NSAttributedString(string: string)
}

This then properly formats the cursor label for the Y-axis- but it also formats the X-axis cursor:
Formatted Cursor

At this point, the X-axis is already assigned an SCIDateTimeLabelProvider- the X-axis is not assigned CurrencyLabelProvider. But it seems to be overridden by the Y-axis label provider or simply unused. The X-axis labels are formatted as dates properly, but X-axis cursor values are just numbers when not being interfered with by the Y-axis label provider.

Am I misunderstanding something or are these all bugs in the iOS SDK? We’re currently evaluating whether this package will meet our needs and it certainly appears to be riddled with issues.

Hello.

I have previously asked a question regarding Android and Xamarin (https://www.scichart.com/questions/android/legend-outside-of-chart-area).

Now, I have the same question, but for iOS. Do you have any examples available for taking chart legend outside of chart area on iOS?

Thank you and have a nice day!

Regards,
Paul.

When search this forum, I found that we can achieve it by adding point marker. But I am getting this error when trying to add point marker :
‘Operation: setPointMarker: is not avaliable on type: SCIHorizontallyStackedColumnsCollection’

let me know this feature(round top corners of bars) is availble or not ! Or is there any way to do this ?

While moving the rollover cursor, if the number of series under the cursor increases, the rollover cursor labels become wrongly positioned. This ViewController subclass Swift example reproduces the problem.

import UIKit
import SciChart

class ViewController: UIViewController {
    // Surface is added in Storyboard
    @IBOutlet weak var surface: SCIChartSurface!
    override func viewDidLoad() {
        super.viewDidLoad()

        let xAxis = SCINumericAxis()
        let yAxis = SCINumericAxis()
        xAxis.visibleRange = SCIDoubleRange(min: 0, max: 260)
        yAxis.visibleRange = SCIDoubleRange(min: -5, max:12)
        yAxis.autoRange = .never

        self.surface.chartModifiers.add(items: SCIRolloverModifier())
        self.surface.xAxes.add(xAxis)
        self.surface.yAxes.add(yAxis)
        self.surface.renderableSeries.add(items:
            renderableSeries( 10...50, 10, .red),
            renderableSeries(150...250, 8, .green),
            renderableSeries( 10...100, 2, .cyan),
            renderableSeries(200...250, 0, .orange),
            renderableSeries( 10...250, 5, .white)
        )
    }
    func renderableSeries(_ xValues:ClosedRange<Int>, _ yValue:Double, _ color:UIColor) -> SCIFastLineRenderableSeries {
        let series = SCIXyDataSeries(xType: .double, yType: .double)
        xValues.forEach { series.append(x: $0, y: yValue ) }
        let rSeries = SCIFastLineRenderableSeries()
        rSeries.dataSeries = series
        rSeries.strokeStyle = SCISolidPenStyle(color: color, thickness: 4)
        return rSeries
    }

The SciChartDemo compiles and runs just fine out of the box. If I change any of the .m files from “Objective-C” to “Objective-C++” and try to compile I have a linker error:

No matching function for call to ‘SCI_constructGenericType’
Expanded from macro ‘SCIGeneric’
Candidate function not viable: no known conversion from ‘const char [2]’ to ‘char *’ for 2nd argument

If I cast 2nd argument in the macro to (char *) I get the following error:

“SCI_constructGenericType(void*, char*)”
ld: symbol(s) not found for architecture i386
clang: error: linker command failed with exit code 1 (use -v to see invocation)

Am I mistaken if I believe that this has to do something with C++ name mangling? More specifically: how can I use SCIGeneric(x) macro in Objective-C++ file?

Thanks.

Hi, guys

My x axis is SCICategoryDateTimeAxis and i’m want to draw grid line with custom period. Let’s say every four hours for data with a period of thirty minutes. What is the best way for that?

Can i redifined axis’s tickCoordinatesProvider?
Can you provide some example?
Or it only possible with axes annotations ?

Hi,
we are using an UICollectionView to display different kinds of views in our application, including charts created with SciChart. We noted that every time a cell with a SciChart is loaded, some memory is allocated and not freed when the cell disappears, which leads to a massive memory leak and eventually crashes the application.
Is there a way to free SciChart resources on demand? Or maybe you suggest another solution to solve this issue?
Regards,
Anna

Hello,
I managed to implement a chart legend with a custom datasource (using just a SCIChartLegend object as a subview, not SCILegendModifier). However, I am unable to place the legend at specified position, it always snaps to upper-left corner of the screen. When creating a SCIChartLegend instance using the initializer that takes a Rect as a parameter, but not supplying a custom datasource, it draws correctly according to offsets specified by the supplied rect’s X and Y. It does respond to changes in the legendPosition property, but it still doesn’t allow to draw the view with any margins (which is what I’m actually trying to achieve).

Hi.
I’m in process optimizing my app.
I’m using Objective-c.

I’d found some memory leaking issues and successfully fixed some of that.

A first issue was about ‘renderableSeries’ under ‘SCIChartSurfaceView’.
If you set class of UIView as ‘SCIChartSurfaceView’ in interface builder and make outlet without setting ‘strong’ or ‘weak’ in .m file,
It never get released automatically and will stay retained on memory.
For me, it caused about 90MB of memory leaking.
But I could solve this issue manually by putting -(void)clear; method of renderableSeries in viewWillDisappear method.

Another issue is about ‘SCIDateTimeDeltaCalculator’ and ‘SCINumericDeltaCalculator’.
It causes about 50MB of memory leaking.
But problem is, I couldn’t find neither where it’s been called nor how I release this manually.

I will be waiting for your answer.

Thanks.

I am using an SCINumericAxis for my y-axis. I am setting the visibleRange to (Min = 28, Max = 76). I am leaving the minorsPerMajor to the default of 5. However when looking at my graph (attached) you can see that the major tick labels are actually every 6 minors, e.g. 30, 36, 42, etc. when they should be 30, 35, 40, etc for minorsPerMajor set to 5.

Please advise on how to fix this issue as my major tick labels should be every 5, not every 6.

Hi all,
I am using the iOS SciCharts version to implement a heatmap series in my application. I am testing out the heatmap by providing a test series of random 100 zValues that range from 1-200. The Heatmap with the stops below just appears blue (see image). My suspicion is that either I am not updating the zValues correctly or the andStops is too low. Can anyone provide insights on what could be the issue?

Hi!

I tried implementing pinch zooming for real time chart in the demo project(FIFO Performance Demo and ECG Monitor Demo) and found that it’s not possible.

I used the following code:

self.surface = [[SCIChartSurface alloc] initWithView: self.sciChartSurfaceView];
SCIPinchZoomModifier * pzm = [[SCIPinchZoomModifier alloc] init];
[pzm setModifierName:@”PinchZoom Modifier”];
self.surface.chartModifier = pzm;

If it is so, then how can I achieve it ?

Hi!
I am going through the showcase example for the spectrogram and I had a confusion on the sizeX and Y parameter of SCIUniformHeatmapDataSeries. Are these sizes as per the width and height of the surfaceChart ? I am going to plot an array of data. How do I determine the correct sizes for X and Y.
Moreover, is it necessary that the size array used for updating the dataSeries has to be (xSize*ySize)?

We have a graph surface with some point markers on it and we want to show a custom tooltip every time the user taps on a point marker. So far I’ve used a UITapGestureRecognizer, convert the touchpoint in the chart frame and for each of the renderable series perform a HitTestAtX with a radius (I’ve tried 1, 5 and 30) but it always returns true, even if I tap on an area where there’s a gap in the chart. Here’s some sample code:

SCIHitTestInfo hitTestInfo = renderableSeries.HitTestProvider.HitTestInterpolateModeAtX(touchPoint.X, touchPoint.Y, 30, renderableSeries.CurrentRenderPassData);

if (hitTestInfo.match)
{
       Console.WriteLine($"Tapped {hitTestInfo.xValue} {hitTestInfo.yValue} with index {hitTestInfo.index} of the series {renderableSeries.DataSeries.SeriesName}");

       var elementSeries = Model.BottomRightLegendList.FirstOrDefault(tup => tup.DataSeries.SeriesName == renderableSeries.DataSeries.SeriesName);

       var element = elementSeries.GraphElement;

       if (element != null)
       {
            matchedElements.Add(element);
       }
}

Why is the “match” property always true, even if there are no Point Markers in the radius?

After upgraded SciChart to SciChart_iOS_SDK_3.0.0.5074, using rollover modifier on a SciChart surface which was embedded into a scroll view will crash the app. It crashed when user scroll horizontally on a SciChart surface inside a horizontal scrollable scrollview. It is the same with the vertically scrollable scrollview.

Hello

In the real-time line chart, I want an animation like the video(link below).
Can you be provided with animations such as a point where a point drawn in real time continues to blink?

I am planning to have a graph like in attached image. Just to have only X values and additional Label provider on it and an indication to point the value like black arrow.
Need your inputs. Thanks in advance.

Hi, guys

I want to show two renderableSeries on one chart view. These series have common x-axis (SCICategoryDateTimeAxis) and separate y-axes(SCINumericAxis). Only one of y-axis is visible at chart view. Also the data series of visible renderable series updated by scrolling to left or to right. So for displaying on one view i’m using:

[y1Axis setGrowBy: [[SCIDoubleRange alloc] initWithMin:SCIGeneric(0.3) Max:SCIGeneric(0.07)]];
[y2Axis setGrowBy: [[SCIDoubleRange alloc] initWithMin:SCIGeneric(0.0) Max:SCIGeneric(5)]];

So it’s look good at start (Correct_zooming.png). But after some scrolling it decrease axis extents of invisible y-axis (decrease.png).
Or even breaks down (broken.png)

For test i’m using SCIFastOhlcRenderableSeries and SCIHorizontallyStackedColumnsCollection readerable series.
Data series for SCIHorizontallyStackedColumnsCollection is initializated like:

    [volumeSerie1 updateAt:index Y:SCIGeneric(100000 / [multiplier doubleValue])];
    [volumeSerie2 updateAt:index Y:SCIGeneric(500000 / [multiplier doubleValue])];

So can you look at it?
Or what way i should implement this behavior?

Best regards,
Sushynski Andrei

iOS 11.2 with xCode 9.2

I have a chart with two data series and a legend. The chart lives in a view controller that is embedded in a navigation controller. I configured the navigation bar to hide itself when the phone it tilted into landscape mode: navigationController.hidesBarsWhenVerticallyCompact = true

When I tilt the phone the navigation bar is hidden as expected. However when I tap on the chart legend to turn off one of the data series I see the navigation bar re-appears. Screen shots attached.

Andrew required swift code so I attach the code.
Please answer my question again.

https://www.scichart.com/questions/question/customize-chart-designwith-pic
https://www.scichart.com/questions/question/cannnot-remove-weird-square-areas

Andrew answered second question, but it didn’t work.
There is no drawAxisBands.

I need to do some calculation for data in visible range after zoom. Is there any notification when gesture ends in SCIPinchZoomModifier? If not, then that means I have to build a custom zoom gesture modifier? If so could you show me how pinch zoom is done in SCIPinchZoomModifier so that I don’t need to build everything from scratch? Thanks

Hello,

I need to modify iOS SCIChart tooltip behavior. I’ve been trying to follow the example at “https://www.scichart.com/example/ios-using-tooltip-modifier/“.

Using SCIChart 4.4.0.5778 I’ve noticed some class methods and parameters don’t match, but I’ve figured out most of them I think. However, I cannot determine the method to use that is equivalent to:
“override func internalUpdate(with seriesInfo: SCIXySeriesInfo)” when subclassing “SCIXySeriesTooltip”.

I did take look at the example code that is packed with the SDK. I got compiler errors in the tooltip code in the file “TooltipCustomizationChartView” when I included the framework bundled with the SDK.

Thank you for the assistance.

Hi,

I’m trying to limit the x-axis panning up to an annotation that I’ve drawn on the graph. This annotation can be beyond the current data’s position (i.e. data’s timestamp is at 5/4/2017 11:00:00, annotation’s position is at 5/4/2017 16:00:00). Is there a method, or any way that I can use to limit the x-axis panning up to the annotation’s position instead of limiting it to the data series’ max X?

Regards.

Hello!

I am building an iOS framework that sits on top of SciChart for app developers within our company. I’d like to provide my own default SCIThemeColorProvider object for charts in my framework. Easiest way to do that is to include my own theme plist in my framework’s bundle, but I cannot currently do that (as of 2.0.0.1643) because the SCIThemeColorProvider initializer assumes it’s either in the “Charting.SciChart” bundle or the main bundle.

I’d like to propose modifying SCIThemeColorProvider to add another initializer that takes a bundle ID, like this:

/**
 * Creates theme provider based on specified style
 *
 * @param themeKey The key of style which should be used as base for this theme provider
 *
 * @param bundleIdentifier The identifier of the bundle containing the theme plist identified by
 * themeKey; if nil, the main bundle is used.
 */
- (nullable instancetype)initWithThemeKey:(nonnull NSString*)themeKey bundleIdentifier:(nullable NSString*)bundleIdentifier;

The existing -initWithThemeKey: initializer would call through to this initializer with a nil bundle ID.

I have attached a patch file with this proposed change. Could this be added to an upcoming build?

I have just learned how to use sci-chart framework with tutorials.
And I tried to add values from bluetooth as realtime chart as shown in tutorials.
I have finished receiving data from a Bluetooth connection.
However, using scichart to represent this data in real time is hard to solve by looking at the tutorial alone.
Does anyone have any idea how to use real-time tutorials to teach you how to represent your own data, not the example sine graph?

The code below is what I tried and is wrong.

I want to hide the axis and the place occupied by the axis on xammarin.iOS, i’am using below code to do the same, the problem here is it does hide the axis but it is not removing the place occupied by axis,

Axis.IsVisible = false;

is it the right way to hide the axis and remove the place occupied by it, or am I missing something here.

When I create a SCIChartSurface programmatically, following the Quick Start guide:
https://www.scichart.com/documentation/ios/current/creating-your-first-scichart-ios-app.html#adding-scichartsurface-purely-from-code

Functionally everything works as expected, but I see a series of these messages in the log:

   [CAMetalLayer nextDrawable] returning nil because allocation failed.

I do not see these messages when the SCIChartSurface is instantiated via a storyboard.

Hi guys,

I just started using SCICHART. I am working my way through the provided tutorials and i noticed that when i add a SCITooltipModifier to the chart, all my other modifiers (zoom and pan and pinchzoom) stopped working. Is this normal? Because i want my chart to have zoom functions and show what datapoints are touched by a user.

Thanks in advance!

Hi, guys

My x axis is SCICategoryDateTimeAxis class type. And it’s limited by VisiableRangeLimit like:

[xAxis setVisibleRangeLimit:[[SCIDoubleRange alloc] initWithMin:SCIGeneric(firstItem – (lastItem – priorItem))
Max:SCIGeneric(lastItem + (lastItem – priorItem))]];

Also for scrolling my content inside chart:

SCIZoomPanModifier * zpm = [[SCIZoomPanModifier alloc] init];
[zpm setModifierName:@"PanZoom Modifier"];
[zpm setClipModeX:SCIZoomPanClipMode_ClipAtExtents];

Like a description SCIZoomPanClipMode_ClipAtExtents says:
“forces the panning operation to stop suddenly at the extents of the data” – but it’s not working constantly.
Sometimes it’s allow to scroll outside the range. Like on the attached image.

So my question is how to limit scrolling by min and max value?

Best regards,
Sushynski Andrei

We are using the candlestick chart, and scrolling off the ends of the plotted data behaves very strangely:
– If I scroll slowly, the chart expands, anchored to the end of the data set (this is expected)
– If I scroll quickly, it lets me scroll beyond the end of the data set
– Once I have scrolled of the end of the data set, touching the screen again jumps back to the data set
– If I scroll slowly so the chart is expanding, and then release touch, the chart continues to move with inertia. If I clock again it jumpos back to expanding mode.

The combination of all these behaviours makes a very confusing and unsatisfying user experience.

Is there a way to change the behaviour? I had a look at https://www.scichart.com/documentation/ios/v2.x/api/dir_2dcc4ec269b335aa862d36c6f6e3093f.html but can’t find anything that might.

We have set:
xAxis is a SCIDateTimeAxis
xAxis.VisibleRange to desired range
xAxis.VisibleRangeLimit = range.Clone() where range is desired range
xAxis.VisibleRangeLimitMode = SCIRangeClipMode.inMax (I guess it should be called minMax but something broke in the build?)
xAxis.AutoRange = SCIAutoRange.Never

with chart modifiers:
– new SCIZoomPanModifier()
– new SCIZoomExtentsModifier()
– new SCIPinchZoomModifier()

Thanks,

Dan

Hi,

I am using sci chart version 2.2.1.2256 in that I am getting date wrong, I have attached image please go through it.Here I am sending previously how I am getting date and now what I am getting.

I am using date formatter “dd/MM/yyyy”

finalDateStr = “29/08/2016” and finalWeightStr = “76.7”

dataSeries.appendX(SCIGeneric(dateFormatt.date(from: finalDateStr)!), y: SCIGeneric(finalWeightStr))

I’m trying to create a Modifier for a PieChart Surface. I can not figure out how to get a segment for a point on the screen. With SciChartSurface, you can get the axis, and use its calculator to get a datapoint, or pixel point. Is there something similar in SciPieChartSurface?

Hello there

I’m looking for any solution to work with milliseconds timestamps (like that one 1563448997279), but haven’t found anything yet.

Is it possible to handle them without losing precision?

Solutions like drop milliseconds not working for me.

One more question to developers:
What is the difference in SCIDataType_DateTime and SCIDataType_SwiftDateTime?

In source code i only found this:
@field SCIDataType_DateTime – NSDate

I’ve received this crash report for a long time since I use this SDK.
But now it’s the largest amount of crash report in the newest version.
Do you have any idea about this?
I use the SDK to show meter temperature and humidity data. It’s about 10k to 30k data show in the chart and every time the user has download the data or the user zoom, drag the chart will recalculate the min, max, avg number in the visible time range.
Thank you~

Hello, I’ve been trying to setup an Ellispe Point Marker graph which shows a linear regression line within the graph, I’ve copied the demo code into another project and it seems to show Ellispe Point Markers, but when I try it out using another project, it doesn’t seem to show up. The issue is that the graph shows up, along with the axis and the linear regression lines, but the Ellispe point markers don’t show up.

When I run the code, the linear regression line changes from new data that is being pushed, but the Ellispe pointer markers don’t show which I’m assuming means that the data is being pushed through/into the chart, but the point markers are specially not showing up for some reason. I’m wondering if anyone can help me regarding this situation, and I’ve looked through the code several times and I can’t seem to find what is causing my point markers to not show.

Unfortunately I can’t completely share the project due to confidentiality reason within my workplace, therefore I shared some screenshots which outline the code that is being used to for the SciChart Graph.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, and if there are any more questions regarding this issue, please let me know and I’ll try my best to answer them and provide more information. Thank you.

Hi, guys

I’m interesting in alignment for line at SCIAxisMarkerAnnotation. For example for top, middle and bottom position. Like at alignment_to_top.png. So is there some possibility for this?

UDP: Is there possibility to hide annotation from chart view?
Something like setHidden: for UIView.
