Hi,

In my application I am hiding some of the line chart by changing the visibility. When changing the visibility the markers is not hiding from the chart. Its happening only the mouse pointer is inside the chart before the visibility change. I have created a sample application and created the video recording also. Please check the attached file for example code and video. On the video you can saw that 2 line visibility is changed and line are hidden from the chart and the markers not hiding from the chart.

I have a real-time updated chart with multiple series. Is it possible for me to add a custom annotation to the chart by just providing the x1 value? i.e. The y1 value will be the y value of the data point in certain series with the provided x1 value. It will look like that the annotation will be sticked to the series with a fixed x1 value while the chart is updating.

I am implementing a waterfall chart with non-uniforma heatmap. I found that the live update doesn’t work. I keep updating the zValues with live data but the chart just show 1 row of data. If I resize the chart (my heatmap is inside a resizable container), I can see the updated data (i.e. Each time I resize the chart, the chart updated and show updated data). Do you have any example of live updated non-uniform heatmap? Below are my codes:

Draw the heatmap:

const SPECTROGRAM_HEIGHT = 256;
const SPECTROGRAM_WIDTH = 100;

const { sciChartSurface, wasmContext } = await SciChartSurface.create("spectrogram-chart-root");

const xAxis = new NumericAxis(wasmContext, {
    axisTitle: "Frequency",
    axisTitleStyle: {
        fontSize: CHART_STYLE.AXIS_FONT_SIZE,
        fontFamily: "sans-serif",
        fontWeight: "bold"
    },
    labelStyle: {
        fontSize: CHART_STYLE.LABEL_FONT_SIZE,
        fontFamily: "sans-serif"
    },
    labelFormat: ENumericFormat.Decimal,
    labelPrecision: 6,
    cursorLabelFormat: ENumericFormat.Decimal,
    cursorLabelPrecision: 6,
    drawMajorBands: false,
});

const yAxis = new NumericAxis(wasmContext, {
    axisTitle: "Time",
    axisTitleStyle: {
        fontSize: CHART_STYLE.AXIS_FONT_SIZE,
        fontFamily: "sans-serif",
        fontWeight: "bold"
    },
    labelStyle: {
        fontSize: CHART_STYLE.LABEL_FONT_SIZE,
        fontFamily: "sans-serif"
    },
    drawMajorBands: false,
});

// Add XAxis and YAxis
sciChartSurface.xAxes.add(xAxis);
sciChartSurface.yAxes.add(yAxis);

const colorMap = new HeatmapColorMap({
    minimum: -200,
    maximum: -50,
    gradientStops: [
    { offset: 0, color: "Transparent" },
    { offset: 0.01, color: COLORS.DARK_BLUE },
    { offset: 0.4, color: COLORS.BLUE },
    { offset: 0.5, color: COLORS.GREEN },
    { offset: 0.6, color: COLORS.YELLOW },
    { offset: 0.8, color: COLORS.RED },
    { offset: 1, color: COLORS.DARK_RED },
    ]
});

// Create a Heatmap Data-series. Pass heatValues as a number[][] to the UniformHeatmapDataSeries
zValues = Array.from(Array(SPECTROGRAM_HEIGHT), () => Array(SPECTROGRAM_WIDTH).fill(-200));

const heatmapSeries = new NonUniformHeatmapRenderableSeries(wasmContext, {
    dataSeries: new NonUniformHeatmapDataSeries(wasmContext, { zValues: zValues, xCellOffsets: getHeatmapXOffset, yCellOffsets: getHeatmapYOffset }),
    colorMap: colorMap,
    useLinearTextureFiltering: true,
    fillValuesOutOfRange: true,
});

// Add heatmap to the chart
sciChartSurface.renderableSeries.add(heatmapSeries);

I simply return the index for testing in the getHeatmapXOffset and getHeatmapYOffset functions:

    const getHeatmapXOffset = (index) => {
    return index;
};

const getHeatmapYOffset = (index) => {
    return index;
};

Reset zValues when number of data point changed:

        spectrogramZValues = Array.from(Array(SPECTROGRAM_HEIGHT), () => Array(newWidth).fill(-200));
        heatmapSeries.dataSeries.setZValues(spectrogramZValues);
        sciChartSurface.zoomExtents();

Update the zValues array when there is new data (I tried to add call zoomExtens() after notifyDataChanged but still didn’t work):

    spectrogramZValues.shift();
    spectrogramZValues.push(newData);
    heatmapSeries.current.dataSeries.notifyDataChanged();

Hello,

I have a Blazor WASM app running Scichart JS. In attempting to get any of the filters working listed in the Filters API docs I am unable to build my application and get thrown an error.

As listed in Moving Average Filter Docs I import the XyMovingAverageFilter:

import { XyMovingAverageFilter } from ‘scichart/Charting/Model/Filters/XyMovingAverageFilter’;

Run npm install and build the application and I get the error:
Module not found: Error: Can’t resolve ‘scichart/Charting/Model/Filters/XyMovingAverageFilter’ in …

So far I have not run into any issues getting any of the Scichart JS APIs working in this manner.

I recently upgraded SciChart from version 2 to version 3.0.266. It was working fine. But I got error (please refer to the attached screenshot) when I try to run my application today. It’s so strange as it worked fine yesterday and I didn’t make any codes change today.

Hey guys,

As you already know, I’ve implemented a wrapper of scichart.

In a clear Nuxt project, I can get the scichart.data / scichart.wasm files very well. Have no problems with that at all.

But on my current project, we can’t implement this because some dependency is missing from scichart. And without your code, I really don’t know how to get into it.

The image is on attachments. Can you help us?

Many thanks,

Pedro Cruz

We are using a sci-chart in our ReactJs project.

SCI chart values have to be changed from the sidebar and whenever a value is changed from the sidebar the chart values are not updated without re-rendering the entire surface of the SCI chart. We need to change the sidebar value without re-rendering how is this possible?

Hello,

We have multiple sets of data that we’d like to display as a Stacked Column. The problem is that our data is jagged, meaning each series may not have a value for every value on the x-axis (it’s a time series by day).

Is there any way to present this data without having to merge all the x-values in every dataset? These a very large sets and it just does not seem to be efficient to do this.

Thanks!

Hi!

For example, I try to draw candles in yAxis visible range from 0.0001 to 0.00014842, and when I zoom, it switches to the visible range from 1 to -1, collapsing my candles.

Please, help to solve this problem.

Hi,

When we published the product of Test Domain, a black rectangle will appear in the SciChart line graph. How should we avoid it?

The tester told me he was reluctant to update to Production Domain in this situation.

Thank for your help

I have upgraded the SciChart version to v3.2 and tried to use the memory debugging tools. https://www.scichart.com/documentation/js/current/webframe.html#MemoryLeakDebugging.html

Below are few issues I found:

  • The example in the Memory Leak Debugging page got typo. It should
    import the MemoryUsageHelper instead of MemoryUsageTracker.

import { MemoryUsageTracker } from “scichart”;
MemoryUsageHelper.isMemoryUsageDebugEnabled = true;

  • When I turn on the memory debugger, I always got this warning when I
    move the crosshair in my chart. Is this expected?

DeletableEntity.js:70 Failed to remove
CursorTooltipSvgAnnotation_42d65afd-b859-4e14-b82d-7cda881cf1eb from
the Object Registry Probably it has been already deleted!

  • I also got the warning in point 2 when I try to delete annotation
    from the chart. I think it’s because I am trying to do something
    like this:

sciChartSurfaceRef.chartModifiers.remove(markerAnnotation);
markerAnnotation.delete();

The warning will be gone if I remove the second line above. Is it true that if I remove an annotation/dataSeries from a chart, I don’t need to remove that annotation/dataSeries manually afterward (i.e. annotation.delete()) ? Also, if I deleted a chart, I don’t need to delete it’s annotation/dataSeries manally, right?

Hello,

Can you show this example(https://codepen.io/PodaRocheK/pen/yLGxGEL?editors=0011) and tell me, why metadata labels are not displayed in some cases? May be you can tell me how to do it correctly? A have similar chart with a lot of datapoints and can’t understand why labels show only in some time(20s or > 1m after start the chart)

Thank you!

I was looking over Tutorial 07 – Tooltips and Legends and the Chart Legends API demo, and noticed that the checkboxes and legend font had some styling applied. But, when I implement a legend on my own it uses the default font (or whatever global font style I used) and the default HTML checkbox styling. I was wondering if you had modified the styling using an outside CSS file, if there is an API endpoint for modifying the styling of the legend, or if this is possibly a bug. I did see that there was an applyTheme() method available, but I thought that it might not apply to this situation. I also tried to look through the example code provided for the Chart API Demo, but I couldn’t find anything that pointed one way or the other.

I have attached screenshots of what the legend looks like in the two examples, as well as a screenshot of what the legend looks like when I implement it on my own. I have also included a zip file with the demo application I created.

Thanks,
Drew

Hi all,

I have another question about SciChart.js, I hope someone can teach me.

First, please download this video

This chart in video is made by d3.js, I hope I can use SciChart.js to make the same features,
please watch from 7 second to the end, when I click the mouse and move to the right direction, then click mouse again,
the section from first click to the second click will make different color, someone can teach me how to do that

PS: English is not my mother language, I wish you all can understand what I mean, Please download the video and watch, thanks.

I’m trying to add a axis label/marker to the yAxis of my chart.
This label should follow the intersection between a FastLineRenderableSeries (that i’m using to render a moving average filtered dataSeries) and the yAxis.

I tried to extend the “draw” method of the FastLineRenderableSeries to draw a label ontop of the yAXis, using the “drawModifiersAxisLabel” helper function. Like:

class CustomFastLineRenderableSeries extends FastLineRenderableSeries {
draw(renderContext: WebGlRenderContext2D, renderPassData: RenderPassData) {
    super.draw(renderContext, renderPassData)
    const yAxis = getYAxis(this.parentSurface);
    drawModifiersAxisLabel(
        yAxis,
        renderContext,
        150, // testing values
        "#00ff00", // testing values
        "#00ff00", // testing values
    );
}

but the label don’t get drawn.

The attached image shows the desired feature (image from another charting lib)

How can I implement this?

Is there any way to provide custom axis label for cursor modifier or at least change label size? I could find only axis label stroke & fill properties in cursor modifier API.

I tried to add a cursorModifier and then modify the stroke color later. But the color changes don’t work. Anything wrong with my codes?

Add cursorModified:

        let cursorModifier = new CursorModifier({
            crosshairStroke: #fff,
            crosshairStrokeThickness: 1,
            showTooltip: true,
            showAxisLabels: false,
            tooltipContainerBackground: "transparent",
            tooltipTextStroke: #fff,
        });
        sciChartSurfaceRef.chartModifiers.add(cursorModifier);

Change the stroke color:

        let cursorModifier = sciChartSurfaceRef.chartModifiers.get(0);
        if (cursorModifier) {
            cursorModifier.crosshairStroke = #333;
            cursorModifier.tooltipTextStroke = #333;
        }

I am trying to create a live updated non-uniform heatmap with uniform xStep but non-uniform yStep. But I got color mapping problem when I tried to create the non-uniform heatmap. The color showing in the chart doesn’t map with the ColorMap value. Below are my codes:

Draw the non-uniform heatmap:

const SPECTROGRAM_HEIGHT = 256;
    const SPECTROGRAM_WIDTH = 100;

    const { sciChartSurface, wasmContext } = await SciChartSurface.create("spectrogram-chart-root");

    const xAxis = new NumericAxis(wasmContext, {
        axisTitle: "Frequency",
        axisTitleStyle: {
            fontSize: CHART_STYLE.AXIS_FONT_SIZE,
            fontFamily: "sans-serif",
            fontWeight: "bold"
        },
        labelStyle: {
            fontSize: CHART_STYLE.LABEL_FONT_SIZE,
            fontFamily: "sans-serif"
        },
        labelFormat: ENumericFormat.Decimal,
        labelPrecision: 6,
        cursorLabelFormat: ENumericFormat.Decimal,
        cursorLabelPrecision: 6,
        drawMajorBands: false,
    });

    const yAxis = new NumericAxis(wasmContext, {
        axisTitle: "Time",
        axisTitleStyle: {
            fontSize: CHART_STYLE.AXIS_FONT_SIZE,
            fontFamily: "sans-serif",
            fontWeight: "bold"
        },
        labelStyle: {
            fontSize: CHART_STYLE.LABEL_FONT_SIZE,
            fontFamily: "sans-serif"
        },
        drawMajorBands: false,
    });

    // Add XAxis and YAxis
    sciChartSurface.xAxes.add(xAxis);
    sciChartSurface.yAxes.add(yAxis);

    const colorMap = new HeatmapColorMap({
        minimum: -200,
        maximum: -50,
        gradientStops: [
            { offset: 1, color: COLORS.DARK_RED },
            { offset: 0.8, color: COLORS.RED },
            { offset: 0.6, color: COLORS.YELLOW },
            { offset: 0.5, color: COLORS.GREEN },
            { offset: 0.4, color: COLORS.BLUE },
            { offset: 0.01, color: COLORS.DARK_BLUE },
            { offset: 0, color: "Transparent" },
        ]
    });

    // Create a Heatmap Data-series. Pass heatValues as a number[][] to the UniformHeatmapDataSeries
    zValues = Array.from(Array(SPECTROGRAM_HEIGHT), () => Array(SPECTROGRAM_WIDTH).fill(-200));

    const heatmapSeries = new NonUniformHeatmapRenderableSeries(wasmContext, {
        dataSeries: new NonUniformHeatmapDataSeries(wasmContext, { zValues: zValues, xCellOffsets: getHeatmapXOffset, yCellOffsets: getHeatmapYOffset }),
        colorMap: colorMap,
        useLinearTextureFiltering: true,
        fillValuesOutOfRange: true,
    });

    // Add heatmap to the chart
    sciChartSurface.renderableSeries.add(heatmapSeries);

I simply return the index for testing in the getHeatmapXOffset and getHeatmapYOffset functions:

const getHeatmapXOffset = (index) => {
    return index;
};

const getHeatmapYOffset = (index) => {
    return index;
};

I fill the zValues array with the minimum value -200, but the data displayed in the chart is COLORS.YELLOW. I don’t understand what’s wrong.

Good evening. Lately I’ve been troubleshooting a problem with page memory usage increasing. Over time, the memory grows exponentially and reaches several gigabytes. To explain the problem, we need to describe how we use charts:

On our website in real time, depending on our algorithm, the charts replace each other. The user constantly sees 4 charts, which are constantly replaced by others. Adding new charts occurs unnoticed by the user and only after the graph is fully loaded and drawn does it replace the previous one. That is, the user actually sees 4 charts, but there may be more on the page. After replacing the desired chart, the old one is deleted using surface.delete() and removing all dependencies.

At first, when creating a chart, I used the create() method. After a number of attempts to avoid memory accumulation and re-reading the documentation, I came to the conclusion that it is possible, since all graphs are created using create() – they have a common wasm and since there cannot be a situation in which all charts will be deleted (at least 4 are always present ), then wasm memory is not freed. Tell me if I’m right about this.

Afterwards, I decided to try to create charts using createSingle() with a reliable method, which now, since each graph has its own wasm, memory will be freed. Perhaps this was the case, but I can’t say for sure, because now after some time the page began to reload automatically with the appearance of an error, the screenshot of which I attached. This is most likely due to a wasm limitation on the page when using createSingle. Although it’s strange, when you delete the chart, the amount of wasm should decrease. And even with a limit of 16 copies, this should be enough. Please explain this error to me as well, perhaps the problem with rebooting can be somehow solved by you (I’m not sure that this should happen)

Thank you very much in advance for your answer. Have a good day!

We use a SciChartVerticalGroup instance to create multi-pane view and add additional charts for indicators under the main chart. After updating scichart 2.2.2407 -> 3.2.461 we face with the following error
(see the screen shot).

Error from chart in div cid1694501226340: TypeError: Cannot read properties of undefined (reading ‘invalidateElement’)

It occurs when we remove sub-pane and change the main chart line, for example from FastLineRenderableSeries to FastCandlestickRenderableSeries

There was no such error on version 2.2.2407

How we can I fix this?

I was used fifo(scrolling) chart in wpf scichart.

But.

I could not found fifo option in js scichart.

Maybe because there is no fifo option, if there is a lot of data accumulated, the chart is slow and cannot be used.

Can I use fifo(scrolling) chart in js scichart?

Hi,

I have a uniform heatmap with multiple ’tiles’ of data loaded in, by using multiple UniformHeatmapDataSeries / UniformHeatmapRenderableSeries.

The user is allowed to pan around/zoom around the heatmap.

I want to build two charts to display the ‘visible heatmap average’, one for each axis. For example, I would display a line chart underneath the heatmap. The first point on this line chart would represent the average value of all cells in the first column of the heatmap – I need this to take into account all of the UniformHeatmapDataSeries that are currently in the viewport, treating them as a singular heatmap.

I’ve seen the NumericAxis.getCurrentCoordinateCalculator(), which looks promising, but I’ve not yet worked out if that can do what I need.

Any thoughts on the best approach?

Thanks
Joe

Hello All,

Is there a way to have a cursor modifier display on a mouse left/center/right click instead of automatically showing when the mouse is over the chart? I tried setting the ExecuteOn property but had no effect.

Thanks in advance,

I have a top chart that is a heatmap and there is another bottom chart that is a temperature map. I want the heatmap not show any y-axis labels but still keep the x-axis start aligned from the left side. I tried turning off the y-axis lables (which I do not need in the heatmap), but that moves the heatmap to the left and not kept aligned with the bottom chart.

const yAxis = new NumericAxis(wasmContext, {
autoRange: EAutoRange.Always,
labelFormat: ENumericFormat.Decimal,
labelPrecision: 2,
labelPostfix: "C",
drawLabels: false
});

The above code hides the y-axis labels but also removes the space on the left side so the x-axis of both graphs does not remained aligned. I need a way to somehow keep the start of x-axis aligned for both top and bottom graphs.

Hi,

In past versions of SciChart JS I was able to run a webpack-built set of static files on an Nginx-based Docker container without issues.

I’m now seeing the error “memory access out of bounds” (screenshot attached) when doing this, and as a result does not render the charts at all, whether it’s running locally or hosted on AWS. This happens in both Chrome and Firefox.

It runs absolutely fine using webpack dev server.

The error seems to be coming from scichart2d.wasm. Any ideas?

Thanks
Joe

Does Scichart JS provide built-in functionality to skip connecting points for gaps in a FastLineRenderableSeries.

We had LineDrawMode for WPF. looking for a similar functionality.

I have combed through KB articles and other documentations and samples here and SO, but I am not able to fix the issue. I am desperate for any help.

I have a react app that shows the chart, but at the top of the page, I have a header section and the remaining height is filled with Chart. All the samples and answers that I have seen thus far has no header section on the page. So the chart is 100% filled within it’s container. But, in my case the chart does not fit its container width & height and I end up with a scroll-bar. This is especially evident when you maximize the page (Chrome maximize window).

I am on Windows 10.

I have attached the code and a screen-shot of what the resulting page in Chrome. I have tried with and without CSS and it made no difference in terms of chart filling its container.

React Code:

import { useCallback, useEffect, useState } from 'react';
import { createRoot } from 'react-dom/client';
import './Chart-styles.scss';
import { SciChartSurface } from 'scichart/Charting/Visuals/SciChartSurface';
import { NumericAxis } from 'scichart/Charting/Visuals/Axis/NumericAxis';
import { getSciChartLicense } from '../common/chartUtils';

const Chart = () => {
const [chartId] = useState('line-chart');

const initChartAsync = useCallback(async () => {
    const { sciChartSurface, wasmContext } = await SciChartSurface.create(chartId);

    const xAxis = new NumericAxis(wasmContext);
    const yAxis = new NumericAxis(wasmContext);
    sciChartSurface.xAxes.add(xAxis);
    sciChartSurface.yAxes.add(yAxis);
}, []);

useEffect(() => {
    SciChartSurface.setRuntimeLicenseKey(getSciChartLicense());
    initChartAsync()
        .catch(error => {
            console.error('ChartRenderer | useEffect | initChartAsync failed!', error);
        });
}, [chartId]);

I have a React application showing a real time updated chart which works well when receives data from event-based WebSocket. Now I need to modify the app with a new data source. I have an aysnc function to get a batch of data in an interval.

        const recordsResponse = await kinesisRef.current.getRecords({ ShardIterator: shardIterator }).promise();
        recordsResponse.Records.forEach(record => {
            try {
                const dataObj = JSON.parse(record.Data.toString('utf-8'));
                spectrumAnalyzerRef.current.metaDataHandler(dataObj);
            } catch (jsonError) {
                spectrumAnalyzerRef.current.binaryDataHandler(record.Data.buffer);
            }
        });

        shardIterator = recordsResponse.NextShardIterator;

        if (!shardIterator || !kinesisConected.current) {
                clearInterval(intervalId); // Stop interval if conditions are not met
        }
    }, 1000);

The recordsResponse.Records contains a batch of records and I want to update the chart based on these records one by one. From my logs, I can see that the binaryDataHandler() which will call appendRange() ran successfully for each record. However, the chart only redraws for the last record of the recordsResponse.Records. I have tried to store the recordsResponse.Records in a state variable and loop to update the chart later, but still got the same result. I am not sure whether it’s chart related issue or React rendering issue. Do you have any idea?

I am having problem instantiating SciChart.js within a specific project and was hoping you might be able to help. To provide context I can run SciChart fine in simple projects and I suspect that I have a webpack issue.

When running a simple graph instantiation such as –

import React, { useEffect } from "react";
import ReactDOM from "react-dom";
import { SciChartSurface } from "scichart/Charting/Visuals/SciChartSurface";
import { NumericAxis } from "scichart/Charting/Visuals/Axis/NumericAxis";

export function MipsGraph(props) {
    useEffect(() => {
        initSciChart();
    });

    return (
        <div id="depthGraph" style={{height: "100%"}} ></div>
    );
}

async function initSciChart() {
    const { sciChartSurface, wasmContext } = await SciChartSurface.create("depthGraph");

    const xAxis = new NumericAxis(wasmContext);
    const yAxis = new NumericAxis(wasmContext);

    sciChartSurface.xAxes.add(xAxis);
    sciChartSurface.yAxes.add(yAxis);
}

I see the following error

Uncaught (in promise) RuntimeError: abort(TypeError:
WebAssembly.instantiate(): Import #0 module=”env” error: module is not
an object or function). Build with -s ASSERTIONS=1 for more info.

and the warning –

wasm streaming compile failed: TypeError: WebAssembly.instantiate():
Import #0 module=”env” error: module is not an object or function

The warning is raised at line 7544 (after pretty print in chrome dev tools) of scichart2d.js?formatted at a line calling WebAssembly.instantiateStreaming(e,d). both e and d have values.

Debugging originally led me to believe that there was an issue finding the scichart2d.wasm file however network traffic clearly shows the file being fetched.

Any ideas?

The scichart y axis is displayed as undefined after updating the data in timed interval. The y axis initially shows the value,but after the data is appended to the source, the y axis is shown as undefined in the chart.

I have attached the final scichart image with yaxis as undefined.

I have a large data set that I can’t really load into memory at once so instead I am paging the data, grabbing only what I require plus a little buffer either side so that the graph always has something in it.

To implement paging I need to change the position at which the graph starts rendering, unfortunately it seems that it is not possible to change UniformHeatmapDataSeries.xStart as set in the constructor.

Is the only way around this to recreate the heatmap from scratch every time a new page is loaded or am I missing another trick?

Codesandbox link: https://codesandbox.io/p/sandbox/vertically-stacked-axes-forked-pd3h7g?file=%2Fsrc%2FApp.tsx%3A133%2C25

I put the first box annotation to be from -5 to 6 and the x-axis range is from 0 to 10, so that mean some portion of the first box annotation is out of the chart. And there is a click event on the box annotation and console log whenever it is clicked on, and when I click outside of the chart box/square and align it to the box annotation, it is registering the click.

I am considering applying server-side licensing for my javerScript application.

In the document below, there is a phrase “Our server-side licensing component is written in C++.”
(https://support.scichart.com/support/solutions/articles/101000515345-scichart-js-domain-licensing-faq)

However, there is only asp.net sample code on the provided github.
(https://github.com/ABTSoftware/SciChart.JS.Examples/tree/master/Sandbox/demo-dotnet-server-licensing)

I wonder if there is a sample code implemented in C++ for server-side licensing.

Can you provide c++ sample code?
Also, are there any examples to run on Ubuntu?

Hello to everyone. I want to take the starting point of my bar charts as 20, for example, rather than 0. If the data is 3, I want to create a bar chart going from point 20 to 23, and if it is -3, from point 20 to 17, can you help me?

Hello everyone,

I have 2 HorizontalLineAnnotations on the chart as price indicators. Sometimes i need to add to some label more data on the second line of the text. You can see example of correct annotation’s label. How can i add ‘\n’ or ‘
‘ to the text for such result?

Thank you a lot!

Hi,
Is it possible to add the scrollbar in the chart. If the visibleRangeLimit is set is it possible to add the normal scrollbar in the side of the chart.

I am using the MouseWheelZoomModifier and ZoomExtentsModifier on the line chart. Beside double clicking the chart area to Zoom Extents the chart, I would like to add a button outside the chart and this button will trigger the Zoom Extents. Is it possible to do it?

Hi,

I would like to display the rollovermodifier line that must be parallel to the X axis and the Rollovermodifier line must be a dashed line. In the y axis I need to add a label annotation with svg .How can I fix the problem. Kindly provide me the solution.

This is the code I have given,

const horizontalline = new RolloverModifier({
IsEnabled: true,
DrawVerticalLine: true,
showTooltip: false,
rolloverLineStroke: “white”,
rolloverLineStrokeThickness : 1
})
sciChartSurface.chartModifiers.add(horizontalline);

I am getting a console error when using isVisible: false to the FastLineRenderableSeries or FastMountainRenderableSeries and CursorModifier together.

  const { wasmContext, sciChartSurface } = await SciChartSurface.create(
    "chart" + this.element
  );
  sciChartSurface.xAxes.add(
    new NumericAxis(wasmContext, { axisAlignment: EAxisAlignment.Top })
  );
  sciChartSurface.yAxes.add(
    new NumericAxis(wasmContext, {
      axisAlignment: EAxisAlignment.Left,
      growBy: new NumberRange(0.4, 0.4)
    })
  );

  const dataSeries = new XyDataSeries(wasmContext);
  const POINTS = 1000;
  const STEP = (3 * Math.PI) / POINTS;
  for (let i = 0; i <= 1000; i++) {
    const k = 1 - i / 2000;
    dataSeries.append(i, Math.sin(i * STEP) * k * 0.7);
  }

  const rendSeries = new FastLineRenderableSeries(wasmContext, {
    dataSeries: dataSeries,
    strokeThickness: 1,
    stroke: "red",
    isVisible: false
  });
  sciChartSurface.renderableSeries.add(rendSeries);
  // sciChartSurface.background = this.color;

  sciChartSurface.chartModifiers.add(
    new ZoomExtentsModifier(),
    new ZoomPanModifier(),
    new MouseWheelZoomModifier()
  );

  // Add CursorModifier behavior
  const cursorModifier = new CursorModifier({
    crosshairStroke: "#ff6600",
    crosshairStrokeThickness: 1,
    tooltipContainerBackground: "#000",
    tooltipTextStroke: "#ff6600",
    showTooltip: true,
    axisLabelsFill: "#b36200",
    axisLabelsStroke: "#fff"
  });
  sciChartSurface.chartModifiers.add(cursorModifier);

  sciChartSurface.zoomExtents();
  return { wasmContext, sciChartSurface };

Hello,
I’m thinking to create a RenderableSeries on the React side for SciChart JS using XyDataSeries generated on my .NET backend. Is it possible to do so?

Hello scichart team!

We would like to run e2e tests for our application, which uses the scichirt.js library. To run e2e, we will be running a local development server with our SPA app in some CI environment.

Is there a way to avoid installing a license manager for e2e in CI env and use RuntimeLicenseKey, but for localhost?

Hello,

I have a BlazorWASM app. I am wondering how to sync the x values of different renderable series that have different number of data points.

In a simple form, I am passing in the data for a moving average to be rendered on the chart that has already been populated with data. The moving average data has already been calculated and has the correct date timestamps. But when I add this series to the chart it is starting at index 0 of where the the price data started instead of where the xAxis date of this renderable series has.

I prefer not to use the filters api to regenerate this data as some will be complex and have already been calculated by study or pulled from a database. I have seen the article to offset a series but this seems unnecessary since I already have the x axis coordinate that I want each point of the new line series to be rendered.

Is there somewhere in the docs that I missed how to get these renderable series to line up properly to their own x data points?

Thank you
