I am using scichart on a web application to plot 4 different plots simultaneously ( three using FastBandRenderableSeries and one using UniformHeatmapDataSeries).

When running on local environment everything works as expected (browser is very responsive) but when I push it to the production website it lags and my computer seems to be having hard time with the browser. I am still debugging it but thought to ask in case you have any recommendations ? Do you have performance related tips you can share?

I was reading on other posts about SciChartSurface.RenderPriority but it does not seem to exist in JS Scichart. Is there a workaround you can suggest?

I am implementing polar chart in my wpf application, and I am trying to customize the next with no success:
– Xaxis data range is between the lowest and the highest value. I need that xaxis goes from 0º to 360º, but sometimes my angle dataseries does not cover the whole range (i.e. it goes from 15º to 270º). I’ve tried a customtickprovider, setting VisibleRange from 0 to 360º, but it doesn’t work. Any ideas?
– I need that the line connecting to points is a straight, but a curve is drawn instead. Is there any property in PolarXAxis or FastLineRenderableSeries to achieve this?

Is there a sample or documentation that you can point me to be able to create the chart panels on the fly?

I would like add checkbox to collapse/hide VerticalSliceModifier, but can’t find properties that do it.
Here is my code:

I am wanting to “force” an axis label on a specific value. For example, right now in my datetime graph it always shows a “5PM” time on the axis regardless of the data. Instead, I would like to “anchor” the axis ticks on a different time value, like local Noon. We were able to do this in our previous charting solution, but I have not yet figured out how to do it with SciChart.

Does scichart support smith charts? If not, it is possible to build a smith chart based on polar chart?

I am still experiencing the effects of this defect despite using v2.5.0.2598 of the Android libraries. Can someone please explain to me how to circumvent this behavior? It seems silly to require a base series that is ultimately going to be replaced by real-time updates.

I have a chart which includes a RolloverModifier with Tooltip shown on MouseHover. This works very well, and RolloverModifer includes a nice HoverDelay property to determine how quickly the tooltip displays. Is there a way to get an event when the tooltip is actually displayed (or about to be displayed)? The normal FrameworkElement.TooltipOpening event does not fire in this situation.

Hi,

the handlers I’ve attached to my viewmodels (FastLineRenderableSeriesForMvvm) used in a chart do not trigger when I change the Stroke or IsVisible properties via bound controls.

Any ideas?

I’m trying to use the metal support in a little test project.
I have following lines to enable metal:

the surface keeps empty until I remove the

sciChartSurface.renderSurface = SCIMetalRenderSurface(frame: sciChartSurface.bounds)

line – or in other words I use OpenGL.
Then the chart will render properly. I am using an iPhoneX (not simulator).

I am trying to use SciChartGroupPane and ChildPanes for my application, and
want to collapse a pane , so that the remaining space is filled with the remaining graphs.

I tried binding the Visibility property to the charts itemcontainer style, but it only partially helped.
I got all the panes collapsing except for the first one. I attached a sample project, where I try to collapse all panes but the last one.

I asked the question here

but got no answer since then. The project could probably not be uploaded beacuse of the size.

Is this behaviour normal? Is it a bug? Please help.

Hi :

When I used BasePointMarker to draw what I need, I found that if I use a mount of points , program’s performance will be bad when I pan or zoom in/out the view.
Is it usual? I follow the example ,Custom point marker.

Hi All,

I have a linear graph which represents a measure in real time (I have a loop that gets a value at each iteration). I have a FastLineRenderableSeries with a DataSeries in which I append x and y vector. The y vector is full of Double.NaN values, and it is updated with valid values at each loop iteration. During the representation, I can only see valid values, and NaN values are not represented. Everything ok.

But now I have changed from FastLineRenderableSeries to CustomRenderableSeries (due to markers and other issues), and I have a strange effect on real time visualization (see attached picture). It seems that NaN values are represented as infinite, so I can see a vertical line at last real value.

I have set DrawNaNAs = LineDrawMode.Gaps but it doesn’t work. Am I doing something wrong? Is there something extra I have to set regarding CustomRenderableSeries?

I’m having some problems plotting a graph with pointmetadata. Every time the graph updates, it seems like the id’s of the metadata are different (giving each point new metadatas). Looking at both lists, the count of both are way off and both vary a lot on each update. Shouldn’t both of those lists always match with each other? What could be the problem?

I have a license for SciChart 5.1 and 3.6. I cannot access the 3.6 versions any more from NuGet, they seem to have disappeared.

I am using Scichart 6.1 in WPF application. I want to access ScichartSurface in my view model to call some commands like ZoomExtentsModifier or SuspandUpdate. So I created all controls like surface, Axis, Series and annotations in my code according to your example ‘Creating your First SciChartSurface’.
My question is how can I attach this view model to my view [*.xaml file] ? I couldn’t find any example of xaml file in this case.
